I flew to another part of the country for a week-long course. Each day was spent working outdoors in my hiking boots. In the evenings I went back to the hotel. Once back in my room, I took off the sweaty boots, inserted these dryers, and plugged them in. Every morning my boots were warm, dry, and ready to go.These produce no sound and no odors, just gentle heating that does the job. I have yet to try them on completely saturated footwear; they might not generate enough convection to work overnight in that situation. But for my purposes, needing to travel light, they were perfect. Highly recommend.

My parents brought these on family ski trips for the last 30 years and I finally got my own set. They are awesome! Reliable, easy to use and a MUST for those super heavy snow days or spring skiing-sweaty feet days. Hope to have mine for another 30 years of skiing!

These are very portable and make no noise, unlike some annoyingly loud fan dryers. But if you are looking for something to dry your boots in a couple hours then yes you will be disappointed. That's not how they are designed to work. They dry my ski boots overnight (I leave in around 12 hrs), I don't need anything quicker. They slide in easily; some wider models are hard to insert into a ski boot. Would be fine for other footwear. I'm on my 3rd pair in over 20+ years.

Worked well during my annual ski trip. Putting boots on is always a challenge because of their stiffness in cold weather. 60 min after inserting the warmer into the boots it is much easier. Overnight use is even better. Added benefit is the boots tend to be dry after overnight use. No technical problems yet.

Just returned from a week at Stowe. I put these in my boots each night. In the morning my boots were warm and dry. They are easy to use and not too bulky for packing. I definitely recommend them.

Very disappointing!Wouldn't heat enough to be noticeable, certainly not enough to dry out sweat.Waste of money.

I am an equestrian and ordered these to pre-warm my tall dressage boots before riding. I honestly am very underwhelmed with their performance although I was hesitant about thinking they'd work for prewarming anyways. I haven't tried them to dry out snowboard boots, but for COLD leather boots in a cold environment, I don't know if they would ever actually get warm...
