It was actually smaller than I thought it would be.

The main engine that takes the AA battery kept falling apart without my son even trying. My husband and I put it back together several times. Then one of the wheels just broke off which then caused it to not even run on the track. This all happened in less than 24 hours. Now I have a very sad little boy who doesn't understand why he new toy is already broken.

Very cheaply made, and it is very small. I would not recommend buying this! This is not up to par with the normal Thomas items we have bought. Especially not for this price point. Maybe at a dollar store I would find this acceptable, or in the $5 range. But definitely not for almost $20!
