A Staple in My Pantry
I've been on a health kick lately, and Kevala's Organic Black Tahini has become a staple in my kitchen. The 2-pound bottle is massive, and even with my generous use, it lasts me a good two months. This tahini is seriously oily, which I didn't expect at first, but it just goes to show how natural it is - the oil separates because there are no additives to keep it emulsified.I use it in everything from dressings to dips, and it gives a rich, nutty flavor that's so much more intense than the regular stuff. And let's talk about the color - it's a deep, striking black that makes any dish stand out. It's almost a conversation starter when I have guests over. What I love the most is the wholesome, healthy feeling I get after including it in my meals. It's packed with nutrients, and you can tell by the taste that it's a high-quality product. Plus, being organic is a huge bonus for me, aligning perfectly with my aim to eat cleaner and more sustainably. In summary, if you're on the fence about trying black tahini, I'd say go for it, especially Kevala's. It's a hearty, healthy addition to any meal, and a bottle will last you ages. Plus, it's a simple way to add some dramatic flair to your cooking! Five stars all around.

Culinary gem
Let me start by saying, black sesame tahini has completely transformed my culinary experience! This rich, velvety spread is a taste sensation like no other. The deep, nutty flavor of black sesame adds a unique and sophisticated twist to everything it touches.Whether drizzled over toast, stirred into oatmeal, or used as a dip for veggies, this tahini elevates every dish to new heights. Plus, it's packed with nutrients like calcium, iron, and antioxidants, making it not only delicious but also incredibly nourishing.I love the versatility of black sesame tahini – it's equally at home in sweet and savory recipes. From decadent desserts to savory sauces, the possibilities are endless. And let's not forget about its stunning dark hue, which adds a visually striking element to any dish.If you're looking to add a touch of gourmet flair to your cooking, look no further than black sesame tahini. Trust me, once you try it, you'll wonder how you ever lived without this culinary gem!

Do you like dark chocolate?
I like to think of this as the "dark chocolate" of tahini. It has a deep bitter, earthy flavor that is just so lovely when you sweeten it a little bit.

Good taste, decent value, runny consistency
Taste is quite nice. Used it to make black sesame mochi waffles and they were fantastic. The black sesame flavor really shined through. Good to use in baking. Compared to other tahinis I've had before, it is quite loose and runny. If you are planning to use it for something that calls for tahini with a thicker consistency, then this one may not be for you.

Big Disappointment!
First, the color doesn’t look normal. It’s pitch black. Then it’s truly like oil/ liquid even though I put it in the fridge overnight and then stirred it I have to throw it away as I found out no return accepted. This product should not be allowed on Amazon.

Interesting Earthy Flavor !
Black tahini is different from the regular tahini, it's kind of earthy but still tasty. I'm a health nut so here's my great recipe. First of all, you need to buy Hemp hearts which are incredibly nutritious. You fill your glass baking dish with Hemp Hearts and add sesame oil (untoasted) or substitute a healthy oil like olive or avocado oil. You grind toasted sesame seeds (or sunflower seeds) and add to the mix, as well as kelp powder. Then use a knife to stir the sesame tahini and drizzle it over the mix (a few tablespoons) and mix it up with knife. Then you bake it for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. It will keep for weeks. This is a good breakfast food. You can take it to work. This is a great addition to a modified keto diet that reduces refined carbohydrates that are so damaging to your health over time. (Get rid of the granola bars; just look at the label to see the sugar and preservatives. Yuck!).

Health
It's messy to work with. The container is a pain to open.I made Tahini bread 🥪 twice and both times it turned out great .The bread is very easy to make only a cup of Tahini, 4 eggs and a half tsp of baking soda in a parchment lined bread 🥪 pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F.It's more like a loaf of whatever not bread because it doesn't toast but with butter or any other spread that you care to use It's a really nice eat that pairs very well with your digestive track.

4 Stars for coming in a plastic jar
Wish it had come in a glass jar, but pleased that it is organic. Maybe I should transfer it to a glass jar so it does not absorb plastic flavors because it won't get used up very quickly. Keeping it in the refrigerator because of the plastic. Will report on taste later. This company's regular organic tahini does come in glass jars - bonus!

Delicious and satisfying
Excellent product! Delicious and very satisfying. My body needs this!I gave "Easy to use" only 2 stars because of having to repackage the tahini out of the pail into smaller containers. I would order smaller containers if they were available, for ease of use and convenience. However, the larger pail does mean a lower unit price. The product is worth the effort and I will buy again.
