FM15 Under-Pillow Speaker with Volume Control, Gray

Even with a minor issue I Love it. Fits comfortably under pillow. Only issue is If Im not in center of the speaker I don't get good sound or at all. I bought a small Bluetooth converter to connect it because I wanted to be able to watch tv on my iPad or PC.

Nice concept, I really wish it was amplified. With my Galaxy S9 it is not loud enough thru my pillow. It is just not quite comfortable enough IMHO for me to use in my pillowcase or under my head. It would have been perfect. Oh well.

After going through multiple pairs of several different sets of headband style sleep headphones over the last several years, I decided to give the PillowSonic FM15 a try. I use it listen to Audible books with my iPhone a night, and have been very impressed with it. Unlike the headphones, I don't awaken to find myself entangled in wires, which is an obvious benefit. Additionally, the volume control built into the cord allows me to adjust the volume easily & conveniently. The speakers are clear, and the volume is more the sufficient for the narrator's voice to be clearly discernible. I typically have the volume turned up fully on my iPhone and have the PillowSonic's volume control set to around 50%.I prefer to sleep with one thin pillow, and was concerned that the unit would be uncomfortable, but surprisingly it's almost unnoticeable.In short, I'm a big fan & glad I decided to give this a try. It's much better than the sleep headphones ever were.

The speaker fits well under most pillows, and is hardly noticeable, yet its sound travels nicely through my pillow, though it may vary depending on the pillow's material and density(mine is filled with shredded memory foam).One very important thing to note is that this speaker is quite quiet, even at its highest volume setting. This means that it does not work very well with music/audio that is intentionally quiet for sleep, however, I had no issues when listening to audio that would be considered normal volume while awake, and the in-line volume adjuster can be used to tune the sound to your preferred volume without having to touch your player device.All-in-all, I am happy with my purchase of this product, and it seems like it will last a long time.

I seldom write reviews, but I think I need to add to those other reviewers that point out this product is no longer worth owning. I have owned several and actually have 3: One purchased in the last month, one purchased 2 years ago, and one purchased 5 years ago.The sound quality of this new one is terrible, bordering on unacceptable. I took the time to swap them back and forth and back and forth on an audio program, and the oldest one still sounds the best. The two year old one is close, and the new one is just bad. The oldest clearly has the best overall audio response. The middle one is close, but has neither the highs nor lows of the oldest. It still plays at a reasonable volume.The new one fails both tests. The sound quality is so bad that, for music, you cannot hear the drums or bass. It is worse than an AM pocket radio from the 1960s. It is as if the speakers are made of tin foil. To top it off, it does not play at the same volume for the same setting as the other two.I hope my other two last, because I will not be purchasing another.ALSO NOTE: Many reviewers claim the "cable" is 6 ft long. It is not. The actual cable from the speaker is only 18 inches. A 5 ft "patch cable" is included with the speaker. This is not the same. Not only does the patch cable add 2 to 4 additional "points of failure" (depending on now your count) but passing the signal through multiple connectors is not the same as sending the signal straight through the wire.

The sound on your device needs to all the way up, then adjust the volume using the speaker control. I have had this brand for years before finally breaking the jack. Was glad to find that I could still buy one. Doesn’t disturb partner, Volume is easy to adjust, and doesn’t hurt the ears laying on it. Highly recommend for those of us that can’t sleep without listening to a book on tape!

I've been using this brand of pillow speaker for years and loved them. The volume was never powerful enough but overall they were wonderful. So when my 3rd (or was it my 4th?) speaker started to die -- all had the same problem: the wire between the jack and the speaker gets frayed and begins to cut out -- I just reordered since I trusted that they were the same thing. I only expected a year or two out of them and all lived up to that expectation. So I plugged in the new one and it worked .... well, it played the stuff but it was not clear. It was similar to a radio that isn't quite on station, you could tell what was playing but it wasn't crisp. Tried it with different things (IPod, MP3 even the old Walkman that won't hold a charge) and it was consistently fuzzy. Too bad, I Ioved those speakers but I've now have a different brand that works to give me my music clearly.

This pillow speaker is easy to set up and a pleasure to use. Sound quality is good and the volume control works great.Cord length from source to speaker is also good. With the dual speaker design there is good sound coverage across the entire pillow. Definitely recommend.

Excellent for the hard of hearing.
