It's really good at catching litter and anything else. I have a disabled cat so she is always making a mess. It's also super easy to clean which was the number one selling point for me. The overall design is nice, and it is really well made! Easy to use, functionable, and just overall a really great product!

We wanted something big to put underneath their kitty litter box to make less of a mess. As you can see it does a very good job of licking up kitty litter, access poop and food. We just remove it dump it out and hose it off to clean it. Very large and nice for the kitties to step on!

Perfect for our giant litter boxes. It covers under and in front of them. Catches most if not all the litter the cats bring out.

This mat is amazing. It catches all the litter on the cats’ feet as they exit. It is easy to clean and set up. Only negative is that it comes folded, so you have to wait a day or so (with heavy stuff on top) to allow the wrinkles to come off.

Game-Changer for Cat this cat litter mat deserves some serious love! I have multiple cats, and tracking litter used to drive me crazy — it was everywhere. Since using this mat, the difference has been incredible. It traps the litter so well, even the tiny bits that used to end up all over my floors.The material is soft enough for my cats’ paws, but tough enough to handle daily use. Cleaning it is a breeze — I just shake it out or give it a quick rinse. No odors, no mess, no stress.If you’re tired of crunching litter underfoot or vacuuming constantly, do yourself a favor and get this mat. Your feet — and your vacuum — will thank you!

Update 02/28/23 - Came back here to say this mat performed exactly as expected with a recent accident my cat had. He’s a little big for his box & over-sprayed. I’m embarrassed to admit that I didn’t notice it for a day. The mat absorbed it spite of the his spray dripping off the edge of the box for hours before drying! My floors were untouched. I hand washed it with enzyme cleaner pre-treatment (soaked for 15 min), regular laundry detergent, & a 10 min soak in laundry sanitizer. No smell! I laid it out to dry & in an hour it was COMPLETELY dry. I was shocked. If your cat has a serious urination issue, it might not work if saturated very heavily, but for the occasional vomit or miss of the litter box, this is an excellent option. 10/10 would recommend!!First and foremost, don't panic about this not "flattening out." This mat flattened out for me in 24 hours when I placed the litter box on top of it. The mat also advises using a hair dryer to help flatten any creases, but I didn't even need to do that. I also did not detect a smell after 24 hours and after 48 hours, any signs of a scent were completely gone.Pros:- Traps litter almost completely: I use pine pellets with my cat and while this was already a low-tracking litter option, it does still track enough that I was having to sweep around the litterbox daily to keep it out of the rest of my house. Now I only do this once a week! The mat traps all of the sawdust and even captures escaped pellets.- Easy to clean: I simply lift the honeycomb top layer and sweep away the sawdust from the waterproof bottom layer with a small hand broom & dustpan, but it's equally as easy to empty this by picking it up and emptying into a trash can.- The honeycomb material is soft & still sturdy- so far has held up well- I appreciate the XL size of this mat. I have a large cat, with a large litter box, so the extra real estate is appreciated to help it fit under the box completely.Cons: None!Notes:- I could maybe see the honeycomb getting torn up if you were to walk on this a lot. However, if only your cat will be walking across this, I don't see it being an issue.- I have not tested the waterproof effectiveness of this mat

The mat does come folded and takes a couple days to remove the wrinkles and lay flat. There is no grip on the bottom side of the mat, so if you have tile or laminate flooring it will slide around easily. Only one end is sewn onto the mat, so the grid layer flips up very easily and is attractive to curious cats to crawl under and make a mess. Would have been a better design if three sides of the mat were sewn, with only one opening to dump the litter.The mat does an okay job at catching the litter, due to the large size and only having one of the ends sewn, it makes cleaning out the litter a bit cumbersome. For liquid spills it’s easy to take it outside and hose it off. Needs about a day to dry after.The price is cheaper than most pet stores, I would recommend this mat if you are on a tight budget. It has reduced the amount of litter on the floor, but I still need to vacuum the litter box room at least once every other day.
