This is a great pet door, it works very well. The only issue is the magnetic strip isn't very strong so it opens quite easily by gusts of wind, which can let water in when its raining. So I wish that it could be a little stronger. But this tiny issue would allow for smaller pets to go though it easier. Another thing that is great about it is how quiet it actually is. We used to have another doggie door in the past and it used to be annoyingly loud. But this one is very silent and sometimes you can't even hear your pet walk though the door when your in the same room.

This fits great in the sliding glass doorway, is slightly adjustable to the height of the doorway. Easy to put in and take out. Easy to assemble. the dogs love it. It freed us up a ton. We have 2 big labs and a small dog and we worried about our 70 pound lab fitting through it, but he has no problems at all.

I have owned 2 of these. The quality is good and they seem to last, so durability is great. They are easy to install, and they come in a variety of sizes for dogs of any size. They can be drafty during cold New England winters, but I think that's a difficult problem to mitigate, so just get some sealing tape or additional insulating foam.

This doggie door was absolutely by far one on my best purchases. My son installed the door and said it was easy to install, was the perfect size for my small dog, durable, especially the magnet to the door flap. Even when it would rain and we would have high winds the flap held in place. Unfortunately, I have had to move and now we don't have a dog door and its awful! I can't wait until I get into a place with a fenced back yard so I can purchase another one and let my little pup roam freely outside again.

This is one of the worst ways to get a dog door put in. The first one they sent was completely assembled wrong from the manufacturer and had to get a replacement sent. Should've taken it as a sign and stopped there. This thing is flimsy and just all the way around horrible. I have lost the use of my sliding glass door to have this thing in because my latch doesn't work with their style cut out for one. It leaks air like crazy through the seals. The cheap nasty weatherstripping that came with it to seal your sliding glass door doesn't work at all, it just lets in a lot of air and dust in. Because now with this thing in your door is stuck at the halfway mark between closed and open, so you have good 1/4 gap open on the back side that needs to be sealed. It is just a horrible, dumb, cheap product that is not worth the money to get. Just for a couple hundred dollars more you can get a company to make a custom dog door to install in your existing sliding glass door and I'm counting down the days till they came out and get our done so I throw this pile into the trash.

I got this pet door yesterday and I saw all the parts and screws. The instructions showed what tools I would need so I put it away for another day. Then I went back to it that evening and I realized that you didn't have to use all the parts and the screws but just the screws to attach the top section of the door to the bottom section of the door and then put it in place in the tracks of the sliding door. Close the door flush against the pet door and it was installed. Oreo, my dog, is still getting use to it by he is using it and I am quite satisfied. Very nice door and very sturdy. Worth every penny.

Decent fit but flimsy, the weather stripping provided isn’t nearly enough, and the instructions on the latch are super vague so I just winged it. It also doesn’t come with enough sheet metal screws to implement every option for installation it recommends. I’m going to need to reinforce it structurally around the edges so it won’t get knocked out of place by a zoomy dog, and I’ll need to somehow insulate it more for the winter cuz it’s very thin material with lots of areas to leak air around the edges and where it joins in the middle. I got the used option so it was cheaper but I would recommend spending more on a thicker one, maybe 2 pane glass model not only for the better insulation but for the better structural integrity.

The first door I received was missing parts, I called the company and they rushed me a new one! They also told me to donate the one missing parts to a rescue or animal shelter and they could probably make the door work! Amazing company with great service AND it's so nice having my dogs let themselves in and out! It is also great quality! I was worried about the new panel not sealing properly with my existing sliding door, making cold or hot hair come into the house. Turns out, that didn't happen at all! I love it and would recommend this for anyone!

In de winter is het fijn als de deur dicht kan maar dat onze hond nog wel de vrijheid heeft om naar buiten te gaan. Het materiaal is nou niet echt een stevige constructie. We hebben er een houten frame o.heen gemaakt niet inde laatste plaats omdat hij te laag was voor onze pui. Wat ik overigens van te voren al wist. Ik ben opzich tevreden maar vind de kwaliteit en prijs verhouding niet passen.

We bought and installed the XL version for our two 35kg Alaskan Malamutes. They quickly learnt how to use it, and can now continue to sleep outside in the winter - at 0 degrees celsius - as they like it, without letting the cold in. Excellent solution! The closure foam and tape provided were not too good though, they became unglued after a few days. I had to buy other ones separately which have worked much better. But that's a small detail.

Tengo la puerta hace cerca de 1 mes. Fue fácil de instalar, sin otra herramienta que un destornillador. Buena calidad, aluminio y cristal, los perros se acostumbraron rapidamente. Solo le veo una pequeña pega, que es sobre el alineamento de los dos paneles que componen la puerta. No quedan perfectamente juntos, por lo que deja una muy pequeña ranura por donde entra el aire.
