I am A mechanical type person, so super easy. However it was installed on a bedroom window that faces the morning sun. Incredible heat coming through the glass. I purchased this in hopes to cut that heat down. I maybe had a 15-20 percent decrease in heat. This stuff is pretty much worthless.
