Can't comment on the longevity of it yet as I've only had it for a few weeks, but if it can last a year of constant use then it will be on par with the OEM verison. Easy to replace- just 3 screws holds it. Remember to not discard the metal piece attached to the old sander pad as you need to transfer it to new one. Had accidentally discarded it but managed to find it in bin later-phew!
