I haven't used this so we will have to see how durable it is but, otherwise it is just what I expected. It weighs less than 3oz on my scale. It's just a little bigger than an empty paper towel roll when folded with it's cross section is a little shy of 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 and a little over 12 inches long. The pad is about 1/4 inch thick and a little over 12x14 inches opened up. I assume it may have even metric dimensions...didn't check. It is thin stiff foam but, should be perfect for keeping my butt dry when sitting on the ground outdoors. Don't expect a lot of padding. Just enough to smooth out rough ground which it fine. Besides that it has a few other uses. The bright orange can be used for signaling, It probably could be used as an emergency splint as it is fairly stiff. Right now it doesn't sit flat by itself with weight on it (kind of like the picture). If it loosens with use it could be used as a door mat for the tent or a flat surface for putting gear on.. Seems pretty cool so far.

This pad is a nice addition to lightweight snow or glacier travel. It is light and thin and provides a little bit of protection wherever you decide to make your seat. However, it doesn't insulate quite as well as some other foam pads --- it is very thin, so probably not fair to expect it to insulate quite as well. I like how it folds up tightly, but when you want to sit down the pad tends to what to stay folded up. If you stand up, make sure you spread it back out flat before sitting back down on it!

Picked this up to replace my Therma Rest Z seat which I unfortunately lost while rafting. Hoping that the safety orange color will make this one easy to spot in the future. I have been a long advocate of packing a camp seat. It's perfect for the Northwest camping I do that almost always (even in summer) has damp ground. It's a great kneel pad for cooking or fire starting and It's especially useful for standing on outside my tent while I put on or take off my boots.Some things I like about this one in particular..- Easy to spot orangey color- Super compact and light- Closed cell foam so no air to leak out- Includes elastic band (which my therm didn't)- It's cheap !Nice little piece of kit to add to your day trips or overnights. good product.

I bought this camping seat as a gift for my dad. It was very compact and light weight. I can't really review the quality when being sat on because I bought it as a gift and he hasn't used it yet. I thought it was great that it came with a key chain attachment so you can pack it or hang it from your bag or belt. Also the bright orange color is handing in emergencies.

38° sitting on metal bleachers supporting my high school home team I realized this product worked! It made a nice barrier from the cold metal seat. Yes it was thin, but I was quite comfortable sitting on it.

Nothing particularly fancy or soft, but light, easily packable and works well to keep your tail off of sharp or damp surfaces. Cleans easily. Nice addition to hiking gear.

Just received my Outwolves camping seat. I was after a super lightweight camp mat and something very small. This definitely fits the bill. It folds really small and is easy to stow in a small pocket. I plan to also use it in my aluminum fishing boat for those ice cold seats during early morning fishing. I prefer the closed cell foam as it won’t soak up any water and mildew is not a problem. Pretty happy with the quality of this one, it seems excellent and the price is good too. Now that I have seen it I plan to get a few more for the boat and the RV. All in all, a great product and smooth transaction.

Bought a few of these and they have become a must-have on my camping trips. I mostly use them for backpacking and they are handy for a seat of course but also to make a flat space for prepping food or gathering things.Super lightweight EVA which is nice and this one has a small lanyard which I clip onto my pack with a carabiner. It folds super small anyway so you can also just put it in your pocket for carrying around. These little pads go with me always now.
