Panasonic TX-43HX600BZ 43 Inch 4K Multi HDR LED LCD Smart TV with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, Black [Energy Class A+]

This TV is excellent in every way . The picture and sound quality are both very good indeed and the 4 HDMI and other connectors allow other equipment - in my case a Sky Satellite box, a Hotbird Satellite box, a video/DVD recorder and a DVD player to be easily operated. It works well as a Smart TV with a variety of built-in options including Prime TV, YouTube etc. I am using a standard antenna to receive Freeview HD but FreeSat HD is also built-in for use with a satellite dish. The TV has also a usb input and provision for PC input which I have not yet tried..

Bought this during lockdown. Very happy with the result. Good selection of apps that load quickly. Great picture quality. Sound very good. Easy setup.Happy buyer.

I am delighted no in fact I did love the picture quality of this TV, does what it says in the description as in true to real life colours & tonal range simply SUPERB!!I am very SAD on the picture quality alone to send this TV back for a number of reasons.1) I had delivery issues with 1st TV having a smashed TV screen, I got a replacement easily.2) The sound out of the TV wasn't too cracking lacking that PAZZAZ! Not loud enough & no real bass to the sound.So I ended up buying a soundbar for this unit, never had one before and have been thinking about one, sound isgreat through sound bar thru optical port.However this is where I found an issue on the HDMI ARC port my prefered preference, NO sound output from portcan control the volume but still no sound. Sound works on my LG TV through the soundbar, but not on this TVport faulty. I spoke to Panasonic tech support they said send it back, which I did, I upgraded from the 580 modelto the 600 model where that model had the same issue. Panasonic tech said something about the sound formats,maybe my soundbar doesn't support the format outputted. [Insert your swear word of choice here]!! I just expectit to work regardless of sound format, there's plenty that are standard!3) The onboard menu system very clunky, when I used my Satellite Box through the HDMI port, I cannot bring up thesettings / menu using the button. I have to do plenty of faffing around to get there. So firmware not good on thismodel, could live with it though but would bug me.4) Am appalled at the level of customer service with Amazon trying to sort this saga out, great in some areas butvery poor in others5) In this world of box shifting, I couldn't get to the bottom of if I could have had the sound issue fix or resolved insome way.You maybe wondering why I have given it such a high rating, that's just me being optimistic, if it wasn't for these issues I would be overjoyed with this TV. Sadly I am having to choose a different TV from another manufacturer.

I purchased this on the basis of the description provided. The Vision and sound did not add up to the description. Non HD channels were fuzzy (This was not the case in my 10yr old Samsung) HD was OK, just, but lacked vibrance.Sound from the TV was poor. (I do realise you need a soundbar but I need some acceptable sound at source) This then required a huge effort to return the item via Hermes with the first, and nearest locations refusing to take the item based on value and size. (it was not that big 43 by modern standards). Back to the drawing board!.

Great TV. Only fault with it is the lack of screen mirror function

Bought this tv mainly to enjoy the great sound quality as advertised. Very poor bass, no depth, in fact it sounds like my small kitchen radio! All the fancy settings are there, but this needs to have an additional soundbar or a plug in bass box, or something. Pleased with the ease of use and the picture quality though.

For my wife and I this is the right size for us . All our tv DVD players are all Panasonic excellent value for the money

If you are using this for watching TV alone, I imagine it's a great TV. If, however, you want to use separate HDMI sources, eg PS5, etc, it is a constant frustration. The software for this TV must be the worst in usability I have ever come across. Maybe the processor is underpowered, but trying to navigate the, less than intuitive, menu maze is slow and therefore confusing. Switching between HDMI sources happens at glacial speeds, if you're lucky: at least 20% of the time you will have to hard reset the TV to get a result.Extremely disappointed by Panasonic, from whom I've had great TVs in the past.
