This book is beautiful In every way! Super grateful for the wisdom in it!

This has been a great tool for getting homeschool information to help guide me as I go through my first year.

The book is jam packed with great information and is written in an easy to understand, conversational style that homeschool parents will be able to relate to. I had a bit of a delay between purchase time and the book being shipped, but it was worth the wait.

Super informative book. I didn’t anticipate from the product image just how big this book was though.

This book has been very helpful for me, in relation to building my confidence in preparing me for homeschooling my children. However, the author talks a lot about her religion in this book, me not be religious, I was concerned when purchasing. However I would buy this book over and over again! She talks about her young adopted son sitting through church and the many months it took for him to actually start enjoying church over kicking the back of the chair and wiggling. It was part of her rewarding good behavior and the consequences for bad behavior and how she handled it with a young child. Religion is mentioned but there is normally a story related to it. It’s part of her life so I understand. However, this book is worth it’s weight in gold! If you can look past the religion, this book is everything you need to homeschool your child. What to expect. How to plan. It’s like she is sitting in my living room having a girls talk about homeschooling. The book reads fantastic. I am beyond excited that I purchased this book.

This is currently my favorite homeschooling book. It is very comprehensive and is organized in a way that is easy to refer to as needed. I bought a copy for myself, my church library, and a few additional copies to share with other families who are considering homeschooling.

This is a fantastic resource! It will be my homeschooling bible for years to come! It literally covers everything and more!Even the topics that she doesn’t have personal experience with are very well researched and she is very honest about it. Her religion might not be for everyone, but she doesn’t say anything like “you have to practice xyz to be a successful homeschool parent”.The best part is that she is funny! Being a mom and a homeschooling parent is hard. We all need someone who has been there and can laugh about it with us. Lea Ann is that person!

Title of review sums it up! Not only is it a good read in general - but the most helpful resource I have found for homeschooling and also feeling like a human being. Can't recommend this book enough!
