SteelSeries The Sims 4 On-Ear Gaming Headset

These headphones are gorgeous. The light is brighter than I'd expected, and for some reason I thought the microphone would be a long stick with a pad at the end like the old ones. This one is just a tiny hole on the side that's out of the way. The quick mic mute button is a small button on the side of the headphones that looks good and is a huge plus. The audio quality is crisp and clear. I have very poor hearing from an accident early on in my life, so this is a massive plus. I had to go into my settings and change it to DVD quality instead of CD quality which it was on by default for some reason - which produced a sort of staticy clarity that I didn't like. I tested the mic with ECHO and a friend, and they say it sounds VERY clear and better than my previous headphones. I'm a little concerned about the fact it connects with USB rather than the usual headphone jack and I wonder if there's an adapter available to do that. I have a lot of speakers and such that I would need to plug these into that don't have a USB option - only headphone jack. That's why I've not tried these headphones with anything such as my iphone, htc one, etc. It connects by USB. It would have been awesome to be able to go out with these on. The colors are very bright as I'd mentioned before. I thought I should also mention that they do change in color according to the Sims 4 or even other games as advertised, but you need to download the software from the Steelseries site. You can also set your own color or for it to change through various ones, but light ones seem to have a dull sort of addition of whitegreen to them. I was unable to get a pure light yellow with the hue setter. It looks more ...whiteish blue or green. However, if you stick to the upper right corner of the hue setter - it does produce a pure, good yellow and other colors. It just seems to have difficulty with lighter and darker versions of some of them. As a side note, it can produce a pretty nice light blue. As for comfort, I frequently have issues with headphones cutting off the blood circulation to my ears which is an extra concern because of my poor hearing. I'm unable to tell you how they do when I fall asleep on them or anything like that (which you probably shouldn't/don't personally do), but theyre very comfortable on my head. The pillow / plush area on the underside of the top of the headphones feels good, too. They can fit my gigantic alien head, so they'll certainly fit yours pretty nicely. As far as durability, I couldn't tell you. They have that plastic-ish feel of USB cords and ...other headphones. I don't know how to describe that. They are very flexible, though and the sides extend/adjust with clicks that make you feel like they'll definitely withstand being adjusted frequently. If they break, I'll let you know, but I feel pretty confident in them withstanding a lot of torture and use. All in all, I'm extremely happy with these headphones. I'm glad I didn't wait!

This headset is great for its price. The color changing plumbobs on the sides are fascinating, even though you cannot see it. Looks great and very easy to install. However, for me personally, the headset starts to hurt after a duration of use. Despite of other reviews stating that they are comfortable, I don't find it comfortable. I have not tested the microphone, nor I have any intention of using it in the future. Update: Gave this product an extra star, they are comfortable but for people without glasses. I fixed this by slightly angling my glasses in a way that the headphone ear isn't directly on the glasses. I don't know if it's all glasses types, but my glasses are very thick ( 9 years of wearing glasses )

Amazing quality sound, never cuts out. Crisp loud speakers, comfortable and also the microphone isn't obnoxious and in the way, very crisp and loud clear quality microphone. You can download the free software from the website and change how and what colors you want the headset to go when not playing in game. Adjustable to your head size too. Easy easy to install.

The sound is awesome. . They are comfortable but while playing the game the colors for their moods do not work right. ..I thought I just got a bad pair so switched them for new ones and the new ones are doing the same thing. :( so not sure if I got two bad ones or if something is off with my computer. . But disappointed by that.

I honestly love the design of this headset.Not only is the design amazing the headset itself is comfortable,really great quality and so is the mic that comes with it.There unfortunately is a huge flaw with the construction of the headset.The mic does not extend ,its directly below the ear of the headset so any audio coming out of the ears of your headset will be in your audio playback,If you like to have your audio setting up super high you wont even be able to hear yourself in a recording.

I was So Dumb ! When i got this on offer , i thought they send me a defective headset with non working mic. but i not returned it since the audio was nice. not used this for almost three months , but my old headset got repaired so i had to switch to this for temporary purpose then i accidently figured out the listen level was only 3 ! after i set it to level 50 the mic started working lol. thank god that i not returned this one. so the ... Pros : 1. simple design and light weight 2. mic is located near left ear speaker but can able to record with good quality 3. there is a seperate software for this headset where you can change the lightnings according to your mood 4. sound quality is nice but can cause pain in ears if the volume is too high. Cons : 1. price is very high when no offers are available. ---------------------- updated review: This headset is a pure gem. the main factors i liked about headset are , 1. durable when compared to non usb microphones. this one still work like new. 2. very light weight, did not had that uneasy feeling like i used to have with other headsets. 3. no sweats in ears. in some gaming headsets,your ears can be fully blocked and hence after 30mins, you will start sweating in ears which can make you uncomfortable. this one is small compare to them so its not covering fully ears.

Très beau casque et fonctionne très bien comme prévu le losange change de couleur selon l'humeur des sims et sors de très bons sons, il peut être parfait pour faire un cadeau a une personne qui joue aux sims !

El detalle del indicador de vida de los sims es de lo mejor, el cable es lo suficientemente largo como para poder jugar de manera cómoda y las esponjas tanto del arco como de los auriculares son muy cómodos por lo cual hace bastante el cómodo la experiencia de usarlos por mucho tiempo.
