School Years Memory Scrap Book Album Red Star 24 Pockets

I was cleaning out my desk the other day and found my daughter's report cards, preschool graduation program, etc. and I didn't really have a good place to put them. She is only 6 years old, so fortunately, I was not too far behind. I had a book like this (not nearly as spacious) growing up and it still has all of my report cards, standardized test results, school pictures, etc. It's fun to look back and see my handwriting at various times and who my "best friends" were. Anyway, after browsing Amazon.com for a while, I decided on this one and it is GREAT. It has tons of pockets for art work, certificates, report cards, etc. The blanks that you fill in have plenty of space to write. In fact, I have been using a fat Sharpie marker and I have plenty of room. They provide ample space to list friends, accomplishments, favorite things about your teacher, height/weight at each grade. The pockets will hold a full size sheet of paper without folding (that's hard to find) and it goes from preschool to 12th grade. The cover has little cut outs to put each year's school pictures from K-12. There are several pages for each grade (more pages for lower grades than high school) so there is space to attach your child's class photo or make a photo collage of the year. If you prefer, you can tape or glue a favorite piece of artwork from the year or have your child draw something. With the blank pages, plus the roomy pockets, there is plenty of room to store everything. I liked it so much, I went ahead and ordered 2 more for my younger children who have not started school yet.

I spent almost two hours reviewing items of a similar nature before deciding on this one. Some of them did not give the size, others would not let you see inside. Some were too cutesy. This one is larger than most. The pages are 10 x 11 which allows an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet to be stored flat. Every page is a pocket and there are multiple pockets for preschool and.early elementary years. One review I read said there should be more pages for high school. There could be, but there will be yearbooks and journals for that. I am giving one to my granddaughter and one to my grandson so I am pleased that the artwork on the pages is generic and cute, but not overly so.The cover is durable and designed to easily insert the photos of each year.I think it was a little pricey. But factoring in the convenience of ordering here and the gas and time I saved in looking for one in the store, I am very satisfied.

I only wish I would have bought this before! I was looking to organize my son's school years and decided to get this album. I was not disappointed. It covers from pre-school to 12 grades. It gives you the opportunity to store school memories as the pages are pockets. It has a space for photos for every year, a space for the child to write their name as they grow, to record their high, favorite books, TV shows, etc. I cannot pretend I will store everything in this album since I have kept every single page from school work from pre-K to now (second grade), but I can definitely keep the more significant in here and the rest in separate box.

I bought this for my son who starts kindergarten. It's a little over priced product, as well as has little too many odd questions that we couldn't answer because he wasn't interested in those things. I think sticking to basic questions about school would be the best. It's great because it's very colorful and has lots of pockets to hold memories.

I chose this album because it included PreSchool. The cover holds school pictures from K thru 12th Grade Graduation. It's well laid out with lots of pages and pockets. The comments and questions on the pages are age/grade appropriate and capture the memories that the child will want to recall. Definitely worth what I spent.

It has a lot of pockets for each year. The outside cover for each school year is an odd size and hard to get just right. Some of the questions during the school year aren't pertinent - it would be better if left blank. But it still meets all the reasons I bought it.

I want to be that mom that scrapbooks every moment of my children's lives... Life just won't allow that right now. So this is a great alternative. Perfect for keeping school pictures, art work, papers, etc all in one place. And it's really cute too.

I absolutely love this book I have been using it now for two years My daughter loves to get involved with this book she picks pictures out and also helps with writing in the book.
