Great for training little kids to ski
The media could not be loaded. Our 4 year old loves to ride behind the boat on and then has learned to stand up which will one day translate to getting up on skis. Get for training form and learning how to get up while making it fun for little kids.

Great for littles
Easy to pull. Safe for littles (4 and 6). Sturdy. Kids felt comfortable and stable at all times. Able to sit and stand at their leisure. Highly recommend for littles who are wanting to learn to water ski.

1st use, I taught a 5 year old, a 3 yr old and a 2 yr old to waterski
1st use, I taught a 5 year old, then a 3 yr old, then a 2 yr old each to waterski, first try. This thing is awesome! You should have seen the faces on the parents! It's similar to a mini jet ski. The kids just sit on it to start, then they just stand up and smile for the crowd on the beach.

A great introduction for kids to water sports!
We have had this towable for a couple of summers and it has been a great way of building confidence in my kids as they learn to be towed behind the boat. This towable does not tie onto the back of the boat instead an adult holds on to ski handle standing in the boat. This means that you will need to move at a slower speed and the driver needs to warn the adult holding of any adjustments in speed or sudden stops. The child on the EZ ski holds on to their own ski handle and they can either sit or as they get more confident they can stand. My 4 year old started on the EZ ski and I really feel it helped him get confident behind the boat, he has now graduated to knee boarding but this was a great start.

Best purchase!
Bought this for my 5 and 7 year old grandkids after the older one fell on her face last year with the regular trainers. (We forgot to tell her to let go of the rope if she falls) Well, this is the best water toy purchase I've ever made! I decided to go with the larger tube for up to 120 lbs. since we have non-skiing relatives near the teen years who might enjoy it, too. And this trainer was the hit of our family get- together. The little ones LOVED it and felt super safe and the 12 year old got the feel of skiing before using regular skis. He also enjoyed just goofing off on it. He then got up on skis the 1st try (last year he couldn't get up).The directions said to hold the rope and not attach it to the boat, but after the 1st run, we attached it. Maybe if you had young 3-4 year olds, it might be different. We also went faster then the 10 mph suggested, probably 15-20 mph. I only wish I knew how to attach pictures with this review to show how much fun it was!!

Great little toy
We bought this little ski trainer for our 4 and almost 3 year-old children. It was an instant hit as they love the idea of something that is just for them and cute! The trainer is well-built with nice valves and it's own handles for towing and pulling. The material covering the bladders seems nice and thick so we're expecting it to last well.We loaded each kid on directly from the boat (as Lake Mead was a little cold at the time) and then pulled them by hand at approx 10mph. They liked it, but didn't dare stand up the first time. They had a couple of goes each and then were indifferent. The next time out, with the water a little warmer, they loved it. They were standing up and enjoying the feeling of 'skiing!' I'm sure they will grow to love the device. Whether it teaches them much about skiing I don't know, but so far as a fun activity, its been great.

Great for building confidence, but thats as far as it goes.
Finally got my 4yo on skis, sorta. Overall we are very happy with this purchase. My daughter is very proud of the fact that she's a big girl skiing like mom and dad. A few weeks ago we finally got her on a 2 person tube which got her over the fear of being towed behind the boat. The next week we finally talked her into riding her ski after my godson who is 6 took it out and loved it. My suggestion to those purchasing this for your child is to follow the same progression as us.The best thing about the ez ski trainer is the seat. When my daughter gets a little off balance or hits some rough water she just sits down. This has given her a lot of confidence thus far. The next best thing is the dual handles so that if she falls the person holding the handle in the boat just let's go so you never have to worry about them trying to hang on and getting dragged. The only thing I was disappointed in is the lack of control the skier or rider has. The kids can make it go back and forth a bit but not much. This is due to two factors I think. First the ripe is attached to the ski so it's very hard to point it any direction except at the back of the boat. Second it's a tube so what can you expect. I think I may try removing the rope from its attachment point on the tube at some point to see if this will give them more steering ability and help them get used to the pull of the boat.

A great eater toy and must have for beginners!
Skiing before breakfast? With EZ Ski we had boys wanting to be out on the water all the time. Whether behind the boat or jet ski, they enjoyed and soon started showing us their moves in the evenings, during the day or with the morning sun. This was a hit with our 4 and 6 year olds and they felt great about themselves and what they could do so quickly. A very safe, easy, controlled way for them to begin water sports! Should have gotten one sooner, glad we have the larger size.
