We got these for our 2 cats for a long car trip during the summer time. Our girl cat got too warm during her first summer and we had to take her to the emergency vet to give her fluids. We didn't want to do that again so we got these just in case. Both cats stayed cool but we did have to rewet them with water part way through our trip. Overall I like them I just wish they stayed wetter longer.

The cooling vest seems to keep my 14 yo schnauzer mix comfortable when high temps impact his breathing. He has mild congestive heart failure and is very heat intolerant- even in the house. I put the vest on after soaking it and set him up with a fan set on low. After a few minutes his breathing seemed better and he looked comfortable.The vest is lightweight and doesn't bunch or bind when dog is resting. It was easy to put on even when wet. The medium fit my dog perfectly- he is very happy with it!

The vest/ shirt is lightweight, stretchy, and seems to be well made. It does seem to run small and my dog has a dachshund-like body so it doesn’t cover her entire back. I used the size chart, but the shirt rides up on her and doesn’t cover the area where her hair is thin.

We used these on our dogs while they were on the boat. We kept reapplying cold water to them. We think they allowed the dogs a few more hours of fun during the “dog days of summer”.
