Don't drive in the rain, with the window down.
As a vent, this item is awesome. The problem lies with the design of it, in relation to the vehicle design. I installed these on a 1998 Chevrolet Astro van, fit PERFECT. The issue that came up was when it rained. When driving, with the window open, within the perimeters of the product, the rain bounces off the sideview mirror and in through the open window. There are a couple of manufacturers that make vents that alleviate this issue, but these work just fine and I'm not going to tear these out to install one that doesn't have this problem.Don't shy away from these because of this review, they still do their job (vent) just fine.

Significantly overpriced but best offering out there. Easy install. These will shatter easily in cold MN winter temps.

Worth the price.
They were easier to install than I expected. The passenger window closes tight but the driver window won't fit all the way in the track. Not a problem though

AVS Vent shades. (Inside channel mount)
Mounts under the window channels. Works good and adhesive 3M tape holds it in place well. Easy for installation under 10min.Just a side note, use a tooth brush when cleaning out window channels helps.

I thought the sticky tape was on the wrong side. I was wrong. These worked perfectly for my 2005 Chevrolet Astro. Thank you!
