PET PRO OXY Stain Destroyer for Carpet and Upholstery, 22 oz, 2 pack, 17739

Back in March, I moved into an apartment and purchased a medium-light colored rug that has a greenish and sandy pattern running through it. The whole point was to keep it somewhat light because the apartment is so small, but hide anything that my two cats and one dog might apply to it (lol). I totally underestimated the power of cat puke, and although I attended to the stains immediately, they pretty much took over so badly that I thought I would keep the now gross, demolished rug around through the winter and replace in the spring. There were just too many stains that I could not get out and it looked awful. I had already shampooed it with my Bissell pet shampoo, but it definitely needed something more. No "natural" cleaner even made a dent, and none of those so-called biological cleaners could handle it. I even tried dish soap and laundry soap in the hopes they would work. And the truth is, I didn't want to replace the rug, mostly because I couldn't afford to, but also because I just really liked it! To make matters worse, it wound up being discontinued and I would have to find a whole new rug. First world problems, right? So I took a chance on this spray thinking it was less money than a new rug, and although I have become quite skeptical of products doing what they say they'll do, this not only took care of every single stain, (including ones that had been there for months that I covered up with furniture😆), it completed this in one late afternoon application with no vigorous scrubbing. I used the stream spray on the nozzle, saturated each stain just short of being soaked (these stains were really bad and I don't think I will have to use that much in the future), and rubbed the product in, wearing gloves of course. If you don't have gloves, you can always put a piece of plastic wrap over your hand, or alternatively use a plastic grocery bag. Later that evening, I took a dish brush (just the plain old regular plastic kind) and kind of fluffed the rug fibers to make sure that any remaining spray was spread out. I'm not sure this was necessary, but I didn't want any area of the rug to be more saturated than others. It also helped separate the rug fibers, in case any needed a little more spray. The next morning, the stains were gone. There's no strong smell in this product, no burning of eyes or nose, just a gentle spray it on / rub it in, and let it work. I read the reviews where people said they watched the stains go away, and these people are telling the truth. Thanks to everyone who wrote reviews for this product; it really helped me! I wish I had taken before and after photos to share. I really encourage everyone with pets and rugs/carpet to keep this product on hand. It's not leaving my cleaning arsenal, that's for sure! Easy to use & great, stain remover. I use it for almost all stains, cats, humans dropping things on their clothes etc. works great, washes out stains.

Used to sell at Target but now hard to find. This product is amazing! Takes out all kinds of stains from my carpets even stains that had been there for years! Does not remove the color from carpet or upholstery either! Excellent!

I'm not sure how this stuff works, and maybe I don't want to know, but I'm flabbergasted at it. You don't even need to scrub it really, though I do: it somehow lifts the stain and removes the scent, even for nasty runny number 2 accidents. We've also used it to clean up small-child messes like vomit. Even stuff that had sat there for several hours and dried, or stains that had been there for several days, it did great. It has a slight smell, but not a strong one. It ain't cheap, but it sure seems to work. Highly recommended.

I love this product. It removes all types of stains, especially pet related, and the scent is not overpowering. This item is a good deal but the reason I took off one star was because the spray nozzle depicted in the picture is white not green and seems cheap. It leaked everywhere while spraying and now the nozzle won't come off so I can't even transfer the solution to another bottle. I've bought the bottle with the original green spray nozzle and I had no issues. Very disappointing.

Best pet stain remover ever!

This stuff cleans ANY stain on the carpet!!! The directions say to wait 5 minutes but you seriously start seeing it dissolve instantly! I’ve used it to clean up our cat’s constant hairballs but even if you don’t have pets this works great for any stains - we have used it for anything and everything and you can’t beat this price! So easy to spray, wait a few minutes and dab it up and you’ll never know anything happened. Doesn’t smell at all either which I appreciate. 10/10, I would recommend!!

I purchased this to clean my mother's beige carpet. She has a cat, so, fur and skid marks were an issue along with the tracks that build up at the front and back door areas and kitchen to lounge. Very happy with this product.

I wish I had taken before and after pictures of the stains, for that matter wished I had taken a video at the time I applied this stuff because it was seriously like magic, the stain just disappeared before my eyes. I was skeptical but thought what the heck, we have tried to get rid of a pet urine stain in the carpet and just ended up making it bigger and bigger and bigger. We used the concentrated carpet cleaner, it came with the machine, but it never got the stain out just seemed to make it worse. So, last ditch we got this and WOW I could not believe my eyes.... I just sprayed it on and watched it disappear! No rinsing, not blotting, just spray and walk away! Bonus, we ended up with two bottles both with a sprayer!!!!

I’ve been looking for awhile for carpet spray to use after my cat has a hair ball. Most ‘ocy’ type sprays are all scent and no results. I’ve finally found it in this spray! Even older stains have come out! Highly recommend.
