The fitting is brass and not plastic.
The RecPro RV city water inlet is an excellent product. Because it is made of brass and not all plastic will not crack and split. Installation is a breeze. In my opinion it is well worth the money.

Bought this for our Transcend 2025 the original manufacturer install was all plastic broke in 4 months , you cannot allow any downward pressure on the all plastic or it will break. This is metal and should last. Very easy to change out on this rv, took about 10min or less.

I had to add a washer to the connector pvc to seal the Inlet to the system. Other than that, it works great. No drips. Hose connector is easy and smooth.

Very easy DYI item to install
All the experts said it was an easy item to replace and it would take 15 minutes or less. I’m happy to report they were correct except it took me less than 10 minutes! Highly recommend this product!

Hardest part was getting the old one off.
Exact replacement for the stock plastic unit. If your city water inlet is leaking this is the bit of kit you need.

Parfaite pièce de remplacement
La pièce est identique à ma pièce d'origine sur mon Thor Tellaro 2023 Ram Promaster. Quand je partais la pompe à eau l'eau giclait dehors au lieu de sortir par mes robinets. J'ai mis un bouchon sur ma city fill valve en attendant de recevoir cette pièce. Ça m'a bien dépanné. Valve facile à installer, ça prend 5 minutes et tout est réglé. Je recommande donc

No seal strip, good quality!
Very good quality, however, will give 3 stars because it does not come with the seal strip to mount on the trailer. All the city water connections you buy from store and even here at Amazon comes with the putty seal strip to assembly on the trailer. I had to go at an RV parts store to get the seal and wrap all over the connection and then screw into the trailer.

valve leaked immediately upon installation, very poor seal. What can i say Had to put a brass plug in to stop the leak,
