Seitenbacher Muesli #5 Choco Max Natural Cereal, 16 Ounce

It is hard to get German item. I am from Germany and this is one of the few cereals I like. It has the oak flakes and some small, tasty milk chocolate pieces. It is not so sweet like most of the American brands and has no dry fruits in it. My children and their friends like them a lot. Some parents were asking me where to get them and they ordered some as well as some other kinds from Seitenbacher. One friend loves also their gluten free version. Glad that amazon makes the world look smaller....

First off, I eat a lot of this stuff. I became somewhat of a chocolate muesli addict in Germany and would sometimes actually order another brand from a store that imports to the U.S. from Germany -- a pretty expensive luxury. The Seitenbacher Muesli "Chocó Max" that I found a few months ago here on Amazon is tons cheaper in comparison. So how do I like it? It's pretty good, overall. It has just the right amount of sweetness for my taste. However, personally I think this has a bit *too much* chocolate in it (yes, there is such a thing!). A second drawback for me is that the oats basically melt away in your mouth. I'd prefer them a tad crunchier. But those are small quibbles due to the fact that I'm comparing them to the chocolate muesli I grew used to in Germany and that are ridiculously expensive if you purchase them in the U.S. So if you are looking for an affordable, healthy and tasty treat, it doesn't get much better than this.

This is so delicious. Even my picky 8 year old is obsessed with this Müsli. It's not too sweet and the oats are very soft and easy to chew. Yummy we will buy more.

This is the best chocolate muesli out there! It doesn't have a lot of crunchy "fillers" like other brands--just oats, a perfect ratio of quality chocolate and ONE crispy treat. I used to buy it in Germany in what I think were two-pound bags but this "American" version tastes just as good. The package says to refrigerate it after opening but that's not necessary. Yum, yum, yum!

I only received ONE package. For over 30$, that's ridiculous.

Worked good enough for me to buy it again.

After being in Europe for 3 weeks and having Muesli every morning, I started missing this great cereal. I found this on Amazon. It taste great with yogurt or milk. Sometime I put it in a little bag and eat it on the go. Only problem is I went thru 35.00 worth of Muesli in 1 month. I wish they made this in bigger boxes like you see in stores.
