I purchased this robe specifically for cold plunging. It is perfect! The terry cloth lining is soft, absorbent and warm after exiting the cold tub. I’m 5’2” and ordered an XS, it is the perfect size; the overall length and sleeve length and aren’t too long, there is plenty of fabric to wrap around your body and the belt holds the robe securely closed. I would give this 10 stars if I could!

I purchased this for my daughter. It feels like a lush robe from a posh hotel. Quality fabric AND pockets big enough to hold a puppy! Winner.

This is the second Monarch robe I have and use their durable light weight waffle robe for shower. This winter house robe is substantial - their sizing is consistent. It is a heavier robe. The advantages: lining fabric is very soft, sleeve length and robe belt adjustments on target. Washed beautifully to get rid of the packing smell. If you are a wrinkle freak, this may not be for you. The outer fabric has retained the packing wrinkling and I may try a cool iron to get rid of the wrinkles. But that does not matter to me. Absorbancy - I do not use this for a shower robe so cannot answer that. For the money, a very robust robe.

I bought several of these for my new spa. They are lush, soft and OH SO WARM!!!The pros:It is exactly as described.The color was beautiful. I got the gray.SUPER heavy duty and plush!!!My spa clients say it's the BEST spa robe they have ever used!Washes really well and does not fade.Sizes are true to size.The cons:In the summer it will be too hot to wear, especially in humid climates.If you don't use fabric softener you will have a lot of static cling.For my spa, they are awesome!Some people complained about the shoulder pads, uh, yeah, I'm not sure why they are even there, but it's not a big thing for me. Also, I was actually skeptical about having spa robes with shoulder pads because they go through so many washes, but so far they have held up, not gotten twisted or anything.The robe has belt loops at two different heights as well as a back belt panel so the belt stays in place.The outside of the robe is microfiber and soft and smooth to the touch. After many washes, that has not changes. soft as ever. The inside of the robe is a soft, fury lining that feels OH SO GOOD!!!!Awesome robe, maybe not great for every day household use during the summer especially in hot and humid climates like Florida which is where I'm at, but great for my spa and the clients feel like they died and went to heaven when they wear them in my spa!!!!

I love this robe! It’s one of my favorite purchases I’ve made in a long time. I put it on most nights after a shower and it feels like I’m at a spa. Perfectly comfortable and it fits very well, with a little extra room so I’m not worried about flashing anyone. I am 5’2” and about 125lbs and the XS fits me perfectly.

Beautifully made, very soft and warm, but extremely oversized and heavy weight. I am 5’3” and 95 lbs. I ordered an XS. The robe comes to my ankles and it wraps around me from side to side. I have to roll the sleeves up 3 inches. It’s also very heavy - feels like wearing a weighted blanket. I am keeping the robe because I’m always cold and it is a great robe to sit and read in. But I wish it were a little truer to size.

Better quality than expected! Perfect for cold plunges. I’m tall but the arm length is perfect. I would size down for a more form fitting robe.

...but you might question the sizing. Listen - this luxury bathrobe is well-designed and crafted. It issoft and has a luxurious feel and appearance. The only thing missing is the italicized monogram of somefamous 4- or 5-star hotel or resort on the front. That said, this sucker is long. I recommend going onesize smaller than you think if you are of average build for your height - otherwise the shoulders andwaist will fit, but you'll have to get the length hemmed up 2 to 4 inches. I still recommend buying this...it's a great robe.

It looks exactly like the picture and is beautiful.The problem is it sticks to wet skin!! How is that called a bathrobe?! Not sure!
