First Time Mom's Favorite Piece of Baby Gear
ERGObaby Four Position 360 Carrier, Dusty Blue I had my first child May 2015. During her first 8 weeks, I relied upon a Moby Wrap to carry her around. I disliked using it for a myriad of reasons, including that: 1) I could not get the yards and yards of fabric spooled around me without dragging/dipping them across the ground (and thereby through the dog hair, dust, etc); 2) I never managed to put it on uniformly from one outing to the next; 3) it was suffocating to wear here in New Mexico during the summer; and, 4) my child eventually seemed too big at 10 lbs to be hanging around in such an unstructured thing. I was therefore intrigued one day at Target by the array of ERGObaby carriers. On impulse I bought the ERGObaby original carrier and original Infant Insert pillow there. They were comfy, although I returned them the next day after I discovered the Performance carrier and the performance Infant Insert pillow at Amazon.com. I ordered the latter because I perceived that they would be cooler to wear (what with their synthetic performance fabrics) than the cotton of the Original Carrier and original Infant Insert pillow. The Performance carrier was just as comfy but not appreciably cooler. As such, and because I felt like it would be nice to carry my daughter front-facing, I exchanged the Performance Carrier for the ERGObaby Four Position 360 carrier. (I kept the performance carrier Infant Insert pillow). I haven’t looked back since, and I have been using the carrier on a weekly basis to do things like walk the dog, go grocery shopping, and visit friends. I particularly like that: 1) my daughter is neither flopping around nor squished in the carrier; and 2) I can get her in and out on my own standing beside the car and without having the carrier touch the ground. I also like how cushy the straps and waist belt are, i.e., I don’t feel like they are cutting into me. The fabric and stitching are of nice quality, and I like the pattern and color (particularly given that I’m sick to death of everything pink). Although my daughter was small (i.e. 25th% for weight and 33rd% for height at 2 months) I felt like the base of the opening of the Infant Insert cocoon was too narrow and observed that, after spending time in the pillow/carrier, she’d have red marks where the sides cocoon pillow dug into her legs. I therefore left the cocoon uncinched a couple of times to see if that would give her more room. It did, but leaving it uncinched made it a little harder to get her in and out. We persevered, nevertheless, until she was a couple of pounds heavier, a couple of inches taller, and had better neck control – at which point, we ditched the cocoon and just placed the pillow insert under her bum to give her a boost to see out.

Best Ergo Yet! Great for every position and comfy.
I am a big fan of baby wearing. Aside from all the emotional benefits, physically it is a nice extra little work out and makes it much more easy to wrangle two children. I have had just about every ergo carrier, the moby wrap, the k'tan, and an expensive infantino. My most favorite was the ergo performance Ventus which was great for all weather types. My first daughter loved facing toward me, so it was perfect. However, my second daughter refuses to face inward, and so I was using the cheapest carrier I had with her facing out, and I destroyed my back. A friend recently mentioned the 360, but I didn't like that it had Velcro adjustments, and that it was not vented. Baby wearing makes you very hot, so vents are a must! The vented mesh 360 is phenomenal. Not only does it look cool, but my daughter loves it and it's extremely comfortable for me. I got the insert, but because my daughter is six months old I have not used it. I love that there are so many options for the carry and I even did the side and back carry with my two-year-old! It is pricey, but just think about how much people spend on a stroller. It is in valuable, and I wish I had this carrier for my first daughter. It is so worth the money, and like all ergo baby products will last until your kids go to college!

Very sturdy, very supportive, very comfortable
Me and my wife really liked this carrier. We decided to get it because we were going on a three day trip and would be hiking trails during the day. We had a baby carrier, but we wanted one that was a bit sturdier and more comfortable for longer, tougher walks. My baby was 13 months old, about 30 inches long, and weighed about 20 pounds. This carrier worked out really well. The carrier felt good on my body and - even after being in there for about 1.5 hours straight at times -my baby never cried out of discomfort. This carrier felt very sturdy, and I was always confident that my baby was well supported; my baby pretty much moved as a unit with my torso. I had no problems putting with the fit (putting the waist belt at the recommeded spot and having baby’s head at the right level). I am 6’3”. However, my wife - who is 5’4” - found that baby’s head was too high up whenever she put the waist belt at the recommended level. There is no way to adjust vertical dimensions. We bought the model that was cheaper than the rest of them; I do not know why it was cheaper, but it definitely seems to be a legit ErgoBaby. We were very happy with our purchase.

It's really worth it!
I am not a baby carrier type of person. I am a stroller person. However, we will be traveling this summer to some places that are not stroller friendly, and I am taking my almost one year old. We have used the regular ergo and she has accepted it for awhile, but I knew we would die of heatstroke if we were using this in the summer. We have had our ergo for about a month now, and this is what I have to say: 1. Weather- this mesh ergo is so lightweight that it is like wearing a belt and two backpack straps. I can carry my baby without any extra bulk. 2. Forward facing- my daughter is a little explorer and hates riding facing me. She loves to ride in the forward facing position and kicks her feet and enjoys the sights when we walk. I am able to kiss her head, hold her feet, and see exactly what she is doing at all times. She is comfortable and can move around to grab things still (good for her!) 3. Extra perks- the straps all have a little elastic band on them that holds the extra strap material. I am on the small side, and this keeps all the extra length of straps from hanging down. Also, I can put this on and get her in it alone with only two buckles to clip. It is a breeze! I know people say that the ergo 360 is amazing, and I didn't really believe it would work for us, but it does. It was worth the cost.

Excellent product and must have all new borns. Can be used when baby turns 5 months. Multiple carrying options provide comfort. Only issue is with strap noise.

A nice baby carrier, lightweight and very comfy for both baby and mom when all the belts are adjusted properly.
