1996-2013 Stereo & Speakers Batwing Fairing Fat boy/ softail Harley bagger

The fairing is what I was looking for. Mounting was easy, but you have to pay attention to the wiring on the back side of the stereo. The wires were not the same color from the stereo connection to the battery connection. The cost savings that were had for the product it self were negated on the prep work required for painting. The fairing needed more prep work than I anticipated and there was a 1 inch crack found by the headlight opening that had to be repaired. The skin needed to be sanded and filled to remove the bumpy surface. The windshield was not cut smoothly. The stereo sounds great.

nothing fits no brackets worked and i am having a hard to get brackets made to work .

Well you really need to read the ad, there is a bit of work you'll need to do. The brackets had very sharp edges, they scratched my headlight housing and needed to fabricate a bit to make fit, so I smoothed all the edges. The stereo didn't work, after hours of trouble shooting I split the bat wing to find the wires disconnect. I called Josh he was great to help resolve the issues.Finally got to fit and wired with upgraded stereo much better. Use Plastic Dip paint for the wing, turned out great.

Comes with internal antenna and not the cover flex as advertised. Reception really sucks if you wanna pick up radio stations.
