My small dog is the absolute worst at taking meds. She will smell it in food and now trying to shove down her throat no longer works because she will not open her mouth for me, even attempting to bite me. I have some medicine she must take 2 times a day and it not a tiny pill. This stuff was my last resort and IT IS A LIFE SAVER!!! Worked like a charm with first attempt. Tip: I make a few balls and put on a plate so she thinks she is getting people food and give her a few small ones without meds then give her the one with it and follow up with a few small ones after that! Incredible stuff, she loves the flavor and has had no side effects.

This is the best pill/capsule camouflage I've ever used for my dog. She loves the bacon smell and gobbles it up. My little Bailey has no problem with taking meds and comes running when I announce, "pill Time"! It's very easy to use, just scoop out the amount needed for size of med and mold around pill or capsule. The paste is soft and pliable making it easy to wrap around the med. It's easy to chew and has healthy ingredients.

Easy to use and a better deal than the "pill pockets," but my dog is "done" with all manner of tricks to get him to take pills. He has severe allergies and takes antibiotics and anti-itch medication. He will not swallow these, and he is wise to my tricks. I wish he would reconsider because, for a while, it was so easy to get him to take pills. However, those days are gone. If your dog isn't continually having to take pills, they should work nicely. If your pup is having to contend with long-term prescription medication, they may become tired of it, just like anything else. Or maybe not, it might just be my dog that has decided he doesn't want to "do pills." If you need to get a dog to take pills short-term, these work perfectly; longer term, my dog says "NO."

I bought this for my dog after he had surgery. This is better than pill pockets because you use what you need to cover the pill whether it's a pill or capsule. A little goes a long way. It is soft and flexible. The ingredient list seems good and my dog loves the flavor. It stays flexible as long as you keep the lid on. It is a better value than pill pockets because one container covers so many pills. I will keep this on hand for my dog.

I had to remove some stars because of the quantity in the container - I have a little 5lb chihuahua who takes pills throughout the day for terminal illnesses and it’s been less than 2 weeks, I already need another container. No way this is 60 doses which is highly disappointing because it’s otherwise perfect. She takes the pills no problem with this - easier for her than pill pockets or anything else we’ve tried. The consistency is great, not sticky or slimy and forms a little ball relatively easy. My girl doesn’t have any teeth so that was an issue prior to getting this paste - she has no issue at all with this. I’m just bothered by the fact that I am already having to purchase another container so soon. I bought the 8oz this time and we will see if it lives up to the claimed amount of doses. Otherwise I’ll have to keep looking elsewhere!

This product’s container is the perfect size for storing with my dogs food and is great for dogs that need to take medication on a daily basis. I ordered this product in January and since I am able to only pull out what I need while keeping the rest fresh, it has lasted almost 6 months! Will definitely be ordering again soon. Absolutely worth the money! The packaging takes up far less space than typical pill pockets and makes larger tablets go down much easier. 10/10 would recommend
