I gave 2 stars because the picture is so nice but I rather give no stars
I absolutely loved this item looking at the pictures. I backed out of it though and like 2 or 3 diff days kept coming back to look at it. I finally gave in and bought it. I read the reviews and most had good things to say and their finished product pics looked so nice. This is the first time my gut told me to do something and I was wrong to listen. Whom ever all had great luck with this item lucky you because I still think its beautiful but unfortunately did not work out for me. A lot of the reviews mention using glue and needing to use sparingly or buy your own because you will need more or will run out. I was confused about the glue because when I received my item there was no glue nor any mention of glue in the instructions. On top of it this is a decent sized item and the pieces are strong and heavy and should be put together to hold sturdy. However all the hardware you receive are wood bits and twist lock nuts that go around screws. I hate hate hate putting furniture together but im pretty good at it when I do and the reviews mention easy installation. In my own experience the lock nuts would turn and lock in the screws but they were not a tight strong grip. Maybe because I didnt make it to the end of building this. Maybe they are a little wobbly or loose until you have the whole thing together and then things tighten up and become more sturdy but I just didnt trust it. I made it through the first couple pages of the instructions getting the 2 side pieces together and the next portion where you get part of the middle with the shelving together but it was confusing next how to get that middle section attached to the 2 side pieces. I rechecked the instructions like 500 times to see if I did something wrong and I couldnt figure it out why it wasn't matching up to attach. I had everything accurate to the pictured instructions and I had 3 other people look at it to have extra hands and eyes and help but the only thing we could come up with was the instructions were wrong or they sent me the wrong parts. We were stuck at that section of the instructions and it didn't much matter anyways. I then checked the other pieces to make sure I didn't have 2 similar parts and I may have picked up the wrong piece to work on. I was trying to keep the blame on myself that I screwed up putting this together but I don't think it was me. I then discovered I had a cracked pretty deeply and badly slat of wood that I wouldnt be able to use, I wasnt going to have enough twist lock nuts because it looked like they did not add the appropriate amount with the hardware pieces and there was a couple missing boards. This product had me stumped from what I could finish. So I reached out to the seller to see about refund or replacement but they made me reach out to Amazon which I did and went through Amazon to contact them. They replied but would not let me reply to them this second time. They sent me once again back to Amazon to be the middle man which I did. Then finally they would reach out to me but they wouldnt let me reply to them to have conversation about anything. I may have liked to have a replacement and someone else to attempt building it with the correct pieces and undamaged parts but they werent allowing discussion. They said I had to return the item for refund. Its big and heavy and I had to get some help. Im thankful I kept the box and all the broken stuff because I was ready to throw it out. I got it back to fed ex of ups who ever sent it and the seller reached out to me saying they got notification of the return being sent back but told me again dont reply to them. And then I got another message later saying they received my return and within 48 hours would inspect item and issue refund and again dont reply to them. I waited but did not hear anything back from them after that. So I reached out to Amazon and they were very helpful and submitted a claim for their a to z policy and was able to refund my money. So there were some really good turn outs in some of the reviews but unfortunately for me I had a really bad experience with both the product and the seller. And I still think if you can master it that its a beautiful item. My advice is use your own discretion I guess. For me personally it was a mistake.

It fits our space.
We purchased this item because it fit an unusual space we wanted to cover in our kitchen and it was the right shade of white. It was easy to assemble, only needing two people to fit the top on the base. Sadly, it isn’t as sturdy as other pieces we’ve assembled. On the other hand it was about half the price of those other pieces. So all in all we’re happy with this purchase.

Just buy the wood glue and it’ll be sturdy and fine!
The media could not be loaded. This island was not too hard to assemble, however the only reason it’s super sturdy was because of the wood glue. BUY the wood glue and apply it when you put pieces together and wipe as you go, it’s only 2-3 dollars at Home Depot, etc. Otherwise it would not be as sturdy as it currently is. I love the way it looks, it adds character to my apartment. The price was just a little too much for the quality but aesthetically it was a smart purchase

Solid, once built
Assembling this was quite the challenge. Lots of screws and posts. Different ones in different places, which must perfectly line up. Had to undo and redo some pieces, since I didn't understand from the diagram which way something goes and it could go different ways. Worst part of the setup was that one little piece was missing and until I got it - which took about 10 days - the things sat in various stages of assembly on my floor. but once done, it's a nice, solid useful item and am happy to have it.

I never leave reviews but…
It really was the perfect addition to my small kitchen! The quality is pretty good although my holes didn’t align up perfectly, it still seems sturdy enough. Not pictured, an end of the top of the table was broken off and i do plan to reach out to the company and ask for a new top or some refund since i won’t get as much resale value (i move a lot and sell my furniture constantly). I’ll update after that! Other than that, it was packaged well and instructions were pretty easy. I am a single female who doesn’t put together furniture often so it i can do it, you can too. It just took some patience and figuring out the pattern but overall, super happy with the quality for what I paid!

It is pretty
It is a cool table, the thing is that it is not real wood, so it means that since it is gonna be in the kitchen area you have to be careful no to get it wet. Also when you assembling it be careful because I broke a piece, lol.Overall it looks good but not sure about the quality! For the prices I guess it is good

Wobbly damaged mess
It arrives in a box the size of the top. It takes many hours to put together. It is lob sided and wobbly and mine was severely damaged on corners ans sides.I was surprised the top was made out of fake wood. I expected those to be butcher block. I am very dissapointed.
