Review: Great scooter but poor customer service - This is a great little scooter that can be broken down and placed in your trunk, then assembled on the spot when ready to use. I have used this scooter to visit oarks and take my grandpup for walks that I would otherwise not be able to do. Also to go shopping with my daughter and not be holding on to a shopping cart or having to get back to the car. It has given me more freedom and been a real enjoyment. What I am disappointed in is the connector of the wheels and main drive somehow became unable to connect, and this seller does not want to replace it, but will charge $350 for part plus I have shipping cost. I haven’t used it that much and still owe on the payment plan. I trusted Pride products to be better, and I would never purchase from this company with desertcart again. I've ridden it on streets that are a bit rough. I've had it at a big airport and flown with it (yes, it's FAA compliant). I've also been to Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and spent 5 hours at the CA. State Fair. Not once have I had any problem with this scooter. I bought Pride specifically because their scooters are very dependable. This scooter went up a steep ramp at the State Fair, and believe me, I like to go fast. The only thing I can say is that if you are assembling/disassembling the scooter yourself, you must be able to lift about 40 pounds in/out of your car and bend a bit to put the two pieces (motor and body) together. At least I do, unless there's a better way. Of course, the hubby helps out when he's with me. I plan to have this scooter for a long time and take it on many trips.
