Sandalwood Premium Grade Fragrance Oil - 10ml - Scented Oil

So I tried the sandal wood by itself. I’ve come to find out I can’t take the scent. It’s just strong for my senses. Except for when I add vanilla or peach to it then I can take it.

I really like the scent of this overall. Not exactly sure that it's true Sandalwood, but it's warm, woody, and spicy (my girlfriend smells pepper in it). The main reason I only gave it 3 stars (instead of 4) is because it doesn't seem very strong compared to other essential oils. I make a beard oil blend and had to add approx. 50 drops to about 1 1/2-2 oz of oil to get a decent amount of scent. Would 30-40 drops have been enough? Maybe, but even 30-40 seems like a lot for 2 oz of oil. The scent is nice and the price is right, so I would buy this again for personal use and recommend it to friends, but if I was looking for something to use in a more professional level (like if I was going to sell a sandalwood scented product) I would not use this.Side note: on my particular bottle, the label reads 'Sandlewood,' not 'Sandalwood.' A minor issue, but really, there's something to be said for professionalism, and if you can't even correctly spell the name of your product, or at least spell check it for typos, that doesn't lend a whole lot of credibility to what you're selling.

Even though I ordered "fragrance oil" instead of "essential oil," I am still not thrilled with the scent of the sandalwood product. This is "fragrance" oil, which usually means that it is essential oil blended with a carrier oil, which is fine for perfumery applications when the scent of sandalwood is desired but does not need to be concentrate or extremely potent.That said, I am not wild about this as a fragrance oil. I have the pine frangrance oil from this company, and it smells fine because the pine is quite dominant and overpowers the carrier oil. It appears that the manufacturer uses the same carrier oil for the sandalwood, because I am detecting a very similar essence in both. Sadly, the carrier oil's scent is too strong for the sandalwood and is equal in scent potency. That, and the carrier oil is incompatible with the sandalwood essential oil - the result isn't pleasant to my nose.I will not return it, but will blend it with other oils I have for scented wax and perhaps even paper-making applications.

This totally smells like Sandalwood! I wanted the smell of Sandalwood (not the "fresh" scent because I don't even know what that smells like) and this is exactly what I got! Totally happy with this purchase! I purchased this fragrance oil to make my own fragrance oil blend for bath bombs. The smell of this fragrance oil is wonderful - smells exactly like Sandalwood- EXACTLY. One of the better smells of essential oils! Usually very expensive and hard to find. I personally used this on my beard after I showered. a few dabs in both hands and massage away at my beard. Very manly sent. A few dabs is all you need. You can also soak wooden jewelry/beads and use in an oil warmer/diffuser. Really good product.

I like the smell it's not over powering

This Sandalwood Eternal Essence fragrance is my very favorite. I was thrilled when I found it through Amazon, because I know you can depend on the shopping experiences from all shops coming through Amazon. I am most pleased with Eternal Essence for this Sandalwood fragrance....the scent is elegant sandalwood, strong enough to provide a presence, but not obnoxious. I originally mixed it with organic coconut oil for a body fragrance, but discovered two drops from this little bottle onto finger tips...makes a terrific 24 hour deodorant!!! Amazing. You'd also be pleasantly surprised how long the 10 ml bottles last...a little dab'll do ya!!!
