Great filter! So, as for quality, it has lasted for a couple months now! Seems to very durable and it can easily be cleaned numerous times before replacing. I will be definitely be purchasing another one for my in ground pool.

I had been buying/using Pleatco replacement filters, but the quality seemed to decrease while the price increased. The Pleatco filters just didn't seem to last very long and were really hard to clean. This is my first Toread replacement filter and it seems to be better made than Pleatco. So far it's been easier to clean. Two of the three inside plastic center rings/guides came off, but I think that was my fault for not getting the tall rod centered before forcing the filter down in place.

One of the worst filters I've ever bought. It didn't fall apart or anything like that. Technically it does work. But they seem to use a very poor material. It clogs faster than any other cartridge I've ever had, by a wide margin. I usually clean my filter every 4-6 months. I have to clean this thing every single month. I'm not a genius, but I know how to care for my pool. I've got a nice Taylor test kit. I check my chlorine every other day. Keep the ph in line, etc. I'm not abusing the cartridge. I see the pressure on filter increase about 10-30% in a single week. Within a month it's usually doubled. Even by ”random Chinese brand" standards, this thing is junk.
