Great quality. Will be purchasing another.
I ordered this to use for jewelry. It is exactly what I needed. The shallow drawers hold a surprising amount of items and the dividers work well for organizing. I did cut pieces of white b felt to go in the drawers to keep the items from moving . I'm going to stain this one a darker color. I'm also ordering a second one to hold my jewelry making tools and the various components and findings. This is made very well and the wood is smooth . Very pleased with this item.

I Love These; So Versatile & Classy
This is the 4th set of drawers by "7 Elements" I've purchased and I love them all. My first purchase was two sets of the 4-drawer units in 2021 and I came back and ordered another two sets, this time two 6-drawer units in 2024. There are other listings showing similar ones but I was really pleased with the quality of the '7 Elements' brand so I made sure to get that same brand the second time around. These are so classy and versatile! I used my first set to store crystals and stones that I collect. I cut felt to line the drawers for the crystals and they look beautiful that way. The drawers are very shallow though. If you're trying to gauge the depth, I can fit a deck of standard playing cards in it and close the drawers, but nothing thicker than that. So it's great for my smaller cabochons and flatter stones, and necklaces. For this most recent purchase, I bought two 6-drawer sets for my art pencils and markers in my art studio. In the top unit I have drawing pencils, mechanical pencils, spare lead, erasers and then ink pens and some small paint brushes. Then in the bottom unit I have all my colored pencils and coloring markers. Standard colored pencils will fit two layers deep, although I prefer to keep them in a single layer for quick visual reference. Markers can fit two layers deep depending on the markers, but it's safer to expect a single layer for most brands. I can fit 10 pencils and 8 markers in each wide section (single layer), but obviously this will vary with your brand of supplies. The dividers are not removable or movable. The quality is excellent. The outside is beautiful, smooth, light wood. The inside is a bit more hit or miss, sometimes an occasional splinter or glue marks, other times not. But it's a minor issue and doesn't bother me in the least, because they're so nice otherwise. They're stackable, although they don't lock into place or anything, you just set one on top of the other. I've never had an issue with them sliding around. The drawers come right out (nothing holds them in the unit), so I often remove a drawer or two at a time and use them as trays on my drawing table while I color. Whether it's for my crystals or my art supplies, these bring me joy and excitement every time I open a drawer. And they look great in any setting, my bedroom or my art studio.

Better than most, stacking is a bit of an issue--
4.5 Stars-- I've got several of this type from different companies. This one is very nice with a couple of caveats. Pros: The drawers slide in and out easily. They also seem to be stable and not a bit wobbly from side to side. They are well-fitted within the structure and glide like they should. This is probably the most important thing for this type of box if you actually use them frequently. Overall quality is excellent. There are a number of minor build issues but nothing to take away from the looks and sturdiness of the drawer set. Color and finish are excellent, probably the best of the several varieties I own. Cons: Stacking is almost impossible without a few modifications. The bars that run the length from side to side are on both the top and bottom. There's no peg-in-hole system for stacking so the bottom bars on the upper drawers sit on the bars on top of the lower drawers. Everytime you pull out a drawer, it shifts a little until if finally falls off. I did try setting the top bar *behind* the corresponding lower bar and this works okay but offsets the drawers by about an inch. Plus, it still wiggles and if you stack another set, that offset just grows and gets less stable. A couple of velcro strips attached on the bars fixes the issue and seems to be holding. It was an easy fix but I wish they would have thought this one through. Quality issues: All minor. There were a few minor finish issues that aren't really worth mentioning. The dovetails on the sides of the box weren't fitted well and were separating on the sides of one of the boxes. I held the box in my lap and bopped the corner with my palm until it fit together. A rubber mallet would have done the job better but, hey, whatever works :) Size: The drawers are a bit shallower than my other sets. These hold one layer of pencils where i can easily get in a second layer in the others. Minor annoyance: I wish the dividers could be easily slid in and out to customize the drawers. Unfortunately, they are nicely glued on each end and along the bottom. I feel certain they could be removed with a pair of pliers but would leave glue on the bottom of the drawer which I'm not willing to do right now. Overall, I'm satisfied with the quality and with the velcro in place, they meet my need. Price is excellent, finish is good. I'll update later if needed. Not sure I'll buy another set but will update here if that's the case.

Well made - 3 drawer storage box
I've been on a pen acquisition spree recently and needed somewhere to store my new precious pens!! You know how it is right ?? 😁 I needed something that would match my older cases and found this one online. From all the reviews it seemed like a good fit and indeed it is. The one thing I really like about this set of drawers is the deep bottom drawer. I've got lots of leads (enough for about 10 lifetimes!) and needed somewhere to store them. The bottom drawer is deeper that the top 2 so you can put all your nick-nacks in there. It's full already!! The compartments are fixed in size so you have to organize your pens/pencils/watnot accordingly. I seem to get around 7 pens in the 4 larger compartments and in the middle one I get 2 (there are 5 total). The bottom has no dividers so it's up to you how you sort that out. There is no felt/foam in the drawers so this is something you will have to add. I'm my last set of drawers there was but the price has become ridiculous. A bit of cheap thin foam will do if you feel it is needed but to be honest it's probably not worth it. The drawers slide in an out well. They are just resting so you get wood on wood friction. No big deal and if you are really concerned you could wax the bottoms. I prefer to leave them in their natural state and let them get all mucky from graphite fingers etc!! From a side to side action there is a bit of play. Nothing too much but it's there probably to give enough room for manipulating the drawers as you pull them in and out. The handles are perfect. Small and unobtrusive with a small scallop to get a better grip. Overall, I'm very happy. Will see how they survive the test of time!!

Perfect for organizing my supplies
These drawers are perfect for organizing most of my pencils and pens, and I have a lot at this point. I like how the drawers are divided to keep things organized. Feels sturdy and high quality. And the finish looks nice. I will buy another when my art supplies collection needs it.

These are the drawers your pencils deserve.
Really nice quality—meant for pencils and pens, so storing rocks in this doesn’t seem wise. Most negative comments are from people using these drawers to hold rocks. I am kind of a snob about art supplies and about how I organize them, and I know there are a lot of us out there. Honestly this set of drawers far exceeded my expectations. The drawers have thin wood bottoms, not particle board or cardboard. Wood on all sides of the cabinet, including the back, and the cabinet is constructed with dovetail corners (the drawers are not, but they are made very well). I think it’s a fantastic deal—I have a new set of 40 Caran d’ache museum watercolor pencils which came in a padded box, but I also have about 20 others in a jar, and about 30 faber albrecht duhrers. I used these drawers to organize them by color, working both brands into the same spectrum. I have enough room to keep graphite drawing pencils and erasers in the top drawer, and this could sit on my coffee table and look tidy. The drawers come all the way out, so I can use them like open trays while I work, which I love. I’m thinking of buying another set for my paintbrushes, and maybe one for my markers. So handy! EDIT: I bought another for my prismacolor pencils—with just a little bit of overlap, a four-drawer unit holds the full collection of these pencils. Really handy.

Lots of storage
I have been reorganizing my craft room with the goal of getting rid of a lot of plastic and replacing with sturdier and more visually pleasing items. Overall I am really happy with my purchase, so much so that I was going to buy another piece for the rest of my pens and pencils. Alas, the item is currently unavailable. Hopefully they will get it back soon. As you can see in the first picture, there is a noticeable gap between the cabinet and the top drawer. This doesn't really bother me, it's more of an annoyance. It's not so annoying I thought about returning the item, though. Here is what I have in this little cabinet: 1st drawer: 30 Derwent Tinted Charcoal and 12 Charcoal Graphitint 2nd drawer: 15 Derwent Coloursoft, 11 Derwent Drawing (think I have one missing somewhere), 4 each of Prismacolor blender & Caran d'Ache blender, 12 Derwent metallic, & 15 Faber Castel , Goldfaber & odd ball drawing pencils Drawers 3-6 I have my Prismacolor Premier coloring pencils Drawer 3 :73 pencils Drawer 4: 66 pencils Drawer 5: 61 pencils Drawer 6: 36 pencils, with 12 being some cheap-o The Fine Touch metallic pencils and 1 odd ball Staedlter pencil As you can see there is one open spot in the bottom drawer. I still have 72 Raffine colored pencils to fit and I really could probably just put them in the the Prismas but I can't make my mind up about mixing the brands, lol. All in total I have 325 pencils in this cabinet with left over space. I put it on my desk for now and really that is where I want to leave it so I can use my coloring books that I have bought. Unfortunately, I am one of those people who has to have supplies right in my face to make sure I use them. All my colored pencils were in a holder that zipped and sat on a shelf and it did me no good because I didn't use them or even think of them. I have a deep enough desk so I think this will work great for me. Hopefully these come back in stock soon so I can order another one. Another thing! I tested these different pens/pencils/markers to see if they would fit and they did: the big Pitt Pens, Tim Holtz distress marker and crayons, Posca 1.3 mm, 1.0 mm Pen-touch, Sharpie paint marker & big Sharpies such as the brush markers, Crayola Super Tips, the long double-ended pens such as the Zig. It's really a great storage option for art supplies.

Exactly what it says it is. Drawer Dividers Are Glued In
I purchased these drawers to keep art supplies and model making tools in and they work well for the task. The drawers open and close easily and there is no binding. The dimensions on the add are accurate. The drawer depth is listed as .5" but there is enough clearance to fit .75" tall items in there. It comes fully assembled right out of the box and looks nice. The only complaint I have with this product is that the drawer dividers are not removable and are glued in very well. The description does not state this one way or the other so that is something to be aware of. I was able to remove them by cutting under the dividers with a razor blade and working them back and forth until they came loose but this was not a quick process, probably took about 3-4 hours to get all of them done and did leave some grooves in the bottom of the drawers where the glue tore out the top layer of plywood in some spots (that probably could have been reduced if I spent more time on it but overall wasn't that big of a concern to me). Removing these didn't seem to affect the stability of the drawers at all.
