Red Light Glasses

These are kinda weird for looking at virtually anything but laser work. Put them on outside for a minute when I first got them, and the color change was phenomenally weird. Just a heads up - you may want to change your screen color/theme, as red text literally disappears. Green appears equivalent to white, etc, etc. Takes a bit of getting used to. That said, it blocks an astonishing amount of blue/violet light. I have a laser tree 450nm 5W laser and it lights up my whole office when aimed at a white piece of material. With these goggles on, I was able to get right up on the CNC machine and adjust focus. Even on 5%, the laser is far too bright to look at even on dark materials. At 75%, these glasses cut the light down to a visible, crisp, but dim spot that allowed me to actually see the spot, the work, and the cut being made. Definitely recommend for 405-450nm lasers. Does transmit some UV, but definitely has major attenuation- really good buy. Of you need to go back and forth between laser and daylight work, you might be better off with a wavelength-specific dichroic goggles that acts as a notch filter. If you can tolerate the deep green tint, though, these are great.

This UV and Red laser safety glasses really works. I have a red led light theraphy device with 850 nm infrared and 650 nm red light wavelengths and when I put on this glasses and it blocked the red led light by 95% and I barely see the red light on my device when I'm using it 6 inches away from my face !!! Wow.. Impressive !!!! This glasses really protect my eyes from getting any lights aka led or laser lights and protect my eyes from those lights long term exposures that will eventually may damaged the vision. I was so impressed that I could not believe how good this UV and Laser Safety Glasses works !!!

I use these for both red light therapy and my laser etched. Works well for both. Feels great on my face for the minutes I stand in that light closet jamming out, waiting on my time to be up.

I purchased this product (FreeMascot UV and Red Laser Safety Glasses for Typical 405nm, 445nm, 650nm and Infrared) and also IPL 200nm-2000nm Laser Safety Glasses for Laser Hair Removal Treatment and Laser Cosmetology Operator Eye Protection. Theses glasses work extremely well with my mito red light therapy and does a great job blocking the light. The other glasses that I bought (IPL 200-2000nm) made by this company did not do a good job at all with my red light therapy (they very slightly blocked the red light, but not by much at all). If you are purchasing these for red light therapy I highly recommend them! Just do not get the IPL 200-2000nm. The picture on the right are these glasses (showing more blockage of light) and the picture on the left (showing less blockage of light) is the IPL glasses.

Tested with 405, 450, and 650 nm light, and the item blocks those very well. Item specs do not list IR light, but the title of the listing says "Infrared laser for hair removal." I thought I'd perform a careful test at 808 nm, and virtually no light was blocked by the glasses. I like the carrying case and microfiber cloth that came with them.

The cold laser I purchased came with protective eye wear but it didn't seem like it was doing enough. These glasses filter the laser light so well I have to take the glasses off to make sure the laser is working.

My laser engraver came with one set of these protective glasses but I often have someone else with me when I'm engraving. This will protect then. They protect from the front and sides.

nice but I ordered 2 pairs & unfortunately 1 came scratched & looks bad so I won't be using that for clients :( Not worth my time or gas to return it
