Enables fixing lots of different things!
I've been using Plas-T-Pair for, um, decades now. I'm a "fixer" - I fix all sorts of things. I'm also an engineer, so I look for ways to fix things so they don't break again. There are some plastics that Plas-T-Pair won't stick to, like polyethylene and polypropylene, but when freshly made and reasonably liquid, it will conform very closely to the piece you put it on...so you can often find ways to lock it to other things even when it doesn't actually adhere. Most molded plastics don't have much strength when they are in tension, and especially as they get old. For example, a part like a nut might crack. In cases like that I'll put the pieces together (if it came apart in pieces) and then wrap with some sort of filament; I've used steel wire, copper wire, some Kevlar thread I have, or even just strong sewing thread, and then put Plas-T-Pair over the filament to hold it in place. A combination like that has fixed many a broken part. As the instruction say, you can also pour a freshly made batch into a mold, and it will flow to capture some really fine detail. It shrinks very little if at all as it sets. You can also let it partially set and mold it a little like putty. After it sets, it's a rather hard plastic that can be filed...it's difficult to carve with a knife when fully set. It's best to not think of it as an adhesive, though it will bond strongly with some plastics.

tough stuff, good for molds
Made some molds, used the plas t pair in the molds and the molds came out great and are very stong. Have also glued plastic car pieces together with very good results. So far, very good product.

Used on several hard to repair items like radio or refrigerator knobs, automotive plastics, etc. The ones supplying the product was very helpful with great customer service!

Best Thing on the Market
This system is the best on the market for repairing plastic. I use it to on bakelite and plastic vintage radio cases and it makes a seamless repair. It can be sanded and painted; it can be used to mold replacement parts; it can be used in ways I probably haven't thought about. What I have discovered, however, is Amazon is no longer the 'go to' venue for buying things. Often they are more expensive here than through other vendor sites. This product is a good example of that as it is twice as expensive here as it is elsewhere.
