The dryer balls are of high quality and decreased our drying time by about half. Our dryer runs on time versus dampness so I start the dyer at "less dry" and the load finishes with wrinkle-and-static-free, dry, cool laundry. We also added a few drops of Lavender essential oil to the wool balls and everything smelled of a light lavender for days. No more-over-heated, burnt-smelling clothing from trying to get the last few articles dry. We absolutely love them.These dryer balls are large and about as hard as tennis balls. This makes for loud thumping while the dryer is going. Fortunately, my laundry room is away from the other bedrooms and this did not bother us except for some initial concern for the drum in the dryer.

These are terrible. They shed on load after load. I had to order new ones as these are just not useable.

Really wanted to stop using all the bad chemicals found in laundry detergent, softener, and dryer sheets. Did a bunch of research and found out about soap nuts and these dryer wool balls. Have been using both these products for almost 3 months now and I've been pretty pleased with the results. My clothes feel cleaner and there is no odor. My husband likes scent though and washed a load of clothes with the leftover laundry detergent I had. When we finished drying that load and I was folding the clothes, I could feel the difference in the material. It's hard to describe but the clothes felt a little tacky and stiffer. When we use the soap nuts and these wool dryer balls, the clothes are softer and don't have that strange tacky feel to the material. The balls are a good large size, a little smaller than the size of a softball and look like they will last a long time. There are a couple things I don't care for but are small issues when using these wool balls in the dryer. One is the noise these make when the dryer is running. It sounds like tennis balls being bounced against a pavement. It's become white noise to me over time but took some getting used to. The second thing is the static cling. It's bad now that I no longer use fabric sheets. I heard using a ball of aluminum foil might help but I'm a little nervous about trying it. The main thing for me is that we are avoiding a lot of the chemicals that we were exposed to previously and that our health will benefit from that.

These sounded like a great idea. Can't really tell if they're saving any drying time. They are a little noisy and we still have to add a dryer sheet for static. Added essential oils to them and that made clothes smell nice.

This is a fantastic product. I've been doing laundry for 35 years and thought I'd seen everything that hS to do with laundry. I can't do without these now. These balls bounce around with the clothes ensuring they come out of the dryer wrinkle free and drying time seems to be reduced. A couple of drops of lemon essential oil keeps my laundry fresh without the slimy feel of dryer sheets.

I love the price and the fact that they are natural being a few of us have somewhat sensitive skin in our house. The features of being so quiet and noticeably handling the static problem was clear right away. They appear to make the clothes a little more fluffy, I like that. I would highly recommend this product, we found it a great value!

Just doesn't work at all on static. If anything, drying takes longer with these.
