This rim guard fits well, thus protecting the rim and sticks . It is a bit wide on the outside so getting a drum key on the lugs is a bit difficult but not a deal breaker.

Made from a high quality rubber that is easily trimmed to fit your drum. I used this on a DIY acoustic to electric snare conversion, and it dampens well enough to separately trigger rim and snare hits while keeping the noise down.

Does the job well, sound is pretty dampened. Weird that it’s marketed as for a 14in drum but there’s still a significant amount left after looping it around my 14in snare, but nothing some scissors won’t fix

Went on easily and was slightly oversized, which was perfect so I could cut to fit.

Item seems to be a good product, but WILL NOT fit onto triple flanged or die cast hoops. Would probably be OK for single or double flanges, but I can't guarantee that. I really wanted it to fit... but it didn't.

the thickness of the rubber on these rim condoms is perfect. if you're a heavy player eventually you might wear thru them but they're affordable enough to replace the one on the snare if you must. I built a huge Ekit and covered all the rims with these and I love them.

The title for this product is very misleading. It reads "Pintech Percussion SILENTRIM10 10" Electronic Drum Trigger". It is, in no way an "Electronic Drum Trigger". It is only a piece of rubber. There is nothing electronic about it.
