I've been taking Oriveda Lion's Mane for 30 days as of this coming 4th of July, and I can honestly say I notice a real difference. My spouse, my coworkers, and even I noticed I was getting way more forgetful lately. I'd walk into a room and immediately forget why I was there. My brain felt like it was permanently stuck in "just woke up" mode, and the morning brain fog never seemed to leave. Now I'm remembering conversations people had with me weeks or even months ago, along with random things I've read that would have normally disappeared into the void. It's honestly kind of weird in the best way. My brain finally decided to come back from vacation. For me, this has been a total game changer. Getting my mental sharpness back is absolutely worth paying a little more for a quality supplement. If you're thinking about trying it, I have a few suggestions: 1. READ THE DOCUMENTATION that comes with it. Oriveda includes detailed instructions, and they're worth reading. 2. When you're first starting out, take 1 Fruiting Body capsule and 1 Mycelium capsule each day for the first week so your body has time to adjust. 3. If you're over 50, follow Oriveda's recommendation to double the dose. 4. Also, be patient. Most people seem to notice the effects somewhere between 4 and 6 weeks, although I personally started noticing improvements after about 3 weeks. Folks need to remember that this isn't some magic pill. You don't take one capsule and suddenly become a chess grandmaster or start speaking fluent Latin. It takes time to build up in your system before you notice the effects. Give it a chance. I was skeptical too. I watched the documentary "Fantastic Fungi" and figured, "Alright, is this actually legit, or is this just really good marketing?" Turns out, it's legit. Yes, Oriveda costs more than a lot of the other brands, but there's a reason. They have a reputation for being one of the gold standards when it comes to mushroom supplements. They do extensive testing, have multiple quality certifications, and are transparent about what's actually in the product. That means when you're taking 900 mg of Lion's Mane, you're actually getting 900 mg of Lion's Mane, not 500 mg of mushroom and 400 mg of mystery powder that apparently graduated from the University of Trust Me Bro. I'm usually pretty skeptical of supplements, and I don't write reviews often, but this one earned it.

This organic lion’s mane extract has been amazing for me. I’ve noticed better energy throughout the day, and it even seems to help me feel more comfortable when I’m dealing with aches. The quality is excellent, the taste is clean, and it’s a great value for the money. I’ll definitely be buying it again!

I was taking the recommended dosing and this wound up causing panic attacks which I've never before had in my life. I went to the ER twice and needed anxiolytics. This was the only supplement I was taking at the time and I was taking the recommended dosing on the packaging. First time I stopped it for a few months and the problem went away (but I didn't draw the connection) then started about a week after I started taking this supplement again. I will edit this review with updates if quitting it resolves the problem long-term. For what it's worth, it did help boost mental focus and all that. Obviously not during the anxiety/panic moments lol. Update: Feeling better 3 months later but not back to 100%. Potential upside of this is not worth the risk. Update: Feeling better 5 months later but still not back to 100%. Have random bouts of sudden anxiety every so often, doesn't require drugs or anything but I've been off caffeine this entire time and will need to be for the foreseeable future. Do not risk it, do not try this. Oriveda knows this causes neurological effects because they warn that feeling itchy, normally an allergic reaction, is a sign "it's working". Itchiness is also a sign of neuropathy, nerves damaged or malfunctioning.

I thought this was a good product, but given the price I can’t do this monthly. I still think it’s a very good product from a good company.

I wasn’t going to write a review because everyone seems to love this brand and it works for a lot of people, but it doesn’t work for me :( I was hoping that it would work because I am studying and am having trouble focusing but it’s not doing anything. I’m not too sure if it’s actually making me worse or I don’t know :/ I am going to try real mushrooms lions mane and see if that one does anything, I was going to purchase that one first but I saw that this brand supposedly had the best of the best lions mane but nothing. For the price and plus shipping it’s not worth it :( I am writing this too because I’m mad I took my child’s phone away and now I can’t even remember where I put it xD but yeah I will try to write after I try the other brand. I took oriveda lions mane for a whole month I forgot to mention that but nothing.

I have been taking this product for around 3 months now. After having taken an antidepressant for anxiety for a year (2020-2021) I was left with brain fog and memory issues. I didn’t feel as ‘sharp’ as I’d used to and found it difficult to retain new information. This, paired with a healthy daily routine and lifestyle, has completely transformed my mind. I’m not perfect yet but I am able to think much more clearly than before, almost to the degree I was able to before medication many years ago. I went into this skeptical but I am now a believer- lion’s mane can do wonders for your mind. Not a single bad side effect to report.
