Replaces the clunky expensive clamp bands
Say goodbye to expensive, clunky stainless screw clamp bands! This device is awesome. Takes a little practice but definitely a needed design and tool for multiple applications. I use various wire sizes depending on the need.

Works great - well worth the price.
Amazing tool. Plenty of videos on youtube on how to use it. Works great! I wish I knew about this tool decades ago.

Slick plating and anodizing make the tool pretty but hard to use
Overall the design is good and the tool well made BUT.... I only gave it 4 stars because the shiny plating and slick anodizing make this tool incredibly slippery and difficult to use with only two hands. My first attempts were with garden hose fittings and 0.032" stainless safety wire. Because this is intended for field use, ie rough work it would be much better with a knurled or sandblasted body and the tip where it contacts the wire loop also having some texture. Also, when used outdoors the sun reflects off the shiny plated tip making it harder to see the work.

Elegant and simple
Very impressive. I’m an auto repair tech and I can’t believe I haven’t used one before. Requires a little room to operate, so not for every situation. Not for cooling system hoses, strictly speaking, as they will not flex with heat. But the quality of the clamp is nearly perfect at any diameter, uniform and as tight as you need. A must have.

Use for light projects
The build quality was was equal to the money value. It is easy tp use as yoy follow the instructions. I used it to attache a round object to a square object and the threaded bold became cross threaded with the wingnut. In the process of attempting to get the nut off, the lower and upper rods bent and broke. The main body shaft stayed in tact.

Nice tool!
A friend showed me one of these little jewels, I knew as soon as I saw it that I would never be happy until I was in possession of my own. Anyone who has any sense of independence and who can manipulate a can opener can find a use for this clever way of making your own. I used it for: garden hose, clamping conductors for soldering, decorative wire accents and to save my kitchen trash can, which cracked from being used to its limits. I was unaware that a decent replacement was over $50. Made this tool look cheap. Wrapped some 16 g solid copper, pulled tight with my handy dandy tool, viola! A stylish receptacle with copper embellishments to last another decade !!! You’ll never be sorry for this purchase.

Pretty useful tool
So I got the cheaper one with the wing nut vs the big T handle bc I wanted a more compact size tool. It can seem a little awkward at first till you get used to the actual mechanics of it and how the clamps are supposed to be made. I have used it on a variety of items that need clamps and it works well. Just remember that too tight will literally cut the hose in half! The single loop clamps is the fastest to do but It also is the one that can be over tightened the easiest. I prefer the double loop and with proper practice you can get them done pretty quickly. This is my 2nd one of these and it came with a plastic wire nut, I don't really know why it has it or what it's use is. I got the full size one also and it's handier than a shirt pocket but too big in some instances so I got this one to try out, now it's my favorite tool.
