Best brush hands down. I've used it for about six months and it sheds very little and does a great job holding the shaving foam. And this is probably a fraction of a price from some of the other brushes that I've seen. I own a couple of other brushes that shed like a Cocker Spaniel in heat, and I just know they help clog up my sink drain. But that isn't the case with this brush. Other badger hair brushes that I've had have a really bad smell for months, but this one didn't stink when wet. Soft and easy to clean. I'm going to buy my sons one of these for Father's day.

This brush is JUNK! The entire brush part came unglued from the handle, and the bristles got all tangled in the middle. It felt really nice, and lathered great for the first 6-7 uses until it started to fall apart. Worst part is that it has been 5 months, and I'm now past the Amazon return window. I wish I could get a refund. This thing is garbage.

Wife bought it as a gift. good looking brush and extremely soft...so soft I did not feel as if it was applying the lather enough...had a bit of a shedding problem so I returned it. hassle free and no questions asked so great return policy.If you want an extremely soft brush this would be great...

I actually purchased two brushes. This one and a "nicer" one. I shave at the gym 5 days a week and over the years I have left things in the locker room never to see them again. I didn't want to spend $40+ for a brush only to lose it, so I purchased this one as my gym brush. It is difficult to compare my two brushes side-by-side because this brush has more of a fan loft and my other has a bulb loft. Some people have listed the softness of the bristles as an issue, but this is not unusual for a fan loft. With this type of loft you want to be careful with the amount of pressure you use when lathering (in the mug) or applying the lather to your face. Excessive pressure can damage the inner bristles and cause your brush to lose bristles and eventually fall apart. I haven't found this to be a problem. This brush does what a brush is supposed to do. It whips your shave soap into lather and allows you to apply the lather to your face. I have no complaints about its ability to perform these functions. If you are looking for a nice, inexpensive brush that will do everything you expect from a shaving brush this is a good choice. If you are looking for a high end brush which will do all that and look impressive in your razor stand, this might not be the best choice for you but be prepared to spend a lot more. Happy shaving.

I read in the description that I should expect to see some loose hairs when I first start using the brush. My experience is that I'm seeing more and more hairs fall out or stick to my face while I'm brushing on the shaving cream each time I use the brush. I like the feel and the the drying stand, but I'm afraid there won't be much left of the brush after a month or two.

Definitely real badger hair, as the cats won't leave it alone. We had to hide it to keep them from taking off with it. It lathers well and works great for the price, definitely a great buy for the novice razor user!

Hard to say. Not sure what to expect with my first brush in a very long time. Bristles are soft and spread out real wide on my face. Kinda wish they would stay together and more compact so I could focus the application a little more precisely ..... but maybe this is the way brushes are supposed to work. I'll update later if I get more experienced and have a different opinion.As to the supplier - they're great. First brush arrived with broken stand. Looked like package had been beaten up pretty bad. When I asked Sip Shave about returning it, they immediately shipped me another one and told me to keep the first brush "on them". Nice!Update on the brush. I'm getting better at it, but I just ordered a boar bristle brush which the reviewers say has stiffer bristles. I'll let you know how that works out …
