Was upgrading an under-counter LED light that required 6AA batteries. This 9V DC wall adapter was exactly what I was looking for. With short circuit and over current protection, and an RF choke on the 6 ft. cord it had all the right specifications for my project. And added bonus was its cost - just a little more than one set of replacement batteries. Just a note on its internal specs - for my application I needed to cut off the connector and strip an inch off the outer sheath to expose the two conductors so that I could solder them to the battery terminals inside the light. When I checked the voltage and polarity with my multimeter I discovered that the red wire was negative and the black wire was positive which wasn't a problem, just opposite from what I was expecting.

A few years ago we flooded and had to store all of belongings. When we were able to bring everything home, we discovered that we could not locate the power supply for our Casio LK-300TV keyboard. Our grandchildren were heartbroken because they love to play it!Our young granddaughter loves to play so much that we found a used Casio CTK-720 for her, but it didn't have the power supply either!My husband searched Amazon and found this 9V power adaptor. He bought one for each of the keyboards. They works perfectly and fit in either the top or bottom receptacle which makes it very convenient!

I'd tried 2 previous power supplies that both claimed to be compatible with Halex dart boards. While that may have been true for *some* Halex boards, it certainly wasn't the case for the one I have. This power supply at a full 1-Amp output center-pin negative is precisely what I needed - no more random board resets. My hunt is over - and yours may be too if, like me, you were searching for a Halex dartboard PS.

The greatest thing its not bulky and fit in between my desk easy, Also it has a blue light to indicate if its plugged in. over all a good product highly recommend for people looking for negative center wire.

Rather than buy the $30 ROLAND / BOSS 9v, negative center pin AC adapter, I purchased this one. It’s ETL Listed, 1 yr warranty, so I felt that it’s safe to use. Works great! At this price, huge savings! I love the 7’ cord and the built in blue LED status light so you know from a distance that it’s properly plugged in. This compact SPA-1 compatible POWER SUPPLY is just what you and I are looking for. 👍

Bought this as a power source for a guitar pedal. On the amp that I have with a noise gate (solid state modeling amp), it works just fine. On my tube amp, it introduces a huge amount of 60 cycle hum. Bringing the 9v output side within 3 inches of the pedal when the amp is on causes a harsh resonating hum. It doesn’t appear to be a true isolated transformer type of 9v supply so that may be the problem. Find something else listed as a class 2 transformer instead of this if your using it near audio equipment.

I lost the original adapter for a very old Casio keyboard during my recent move. My daughter loves this keyboard and plays it often. I bought this universal adapter, not knowing if it would work, and it works perfectly! As always, the buying experience through Amazon is easy, fast, and super convenient! I was very pleasantly surprised that it worked with my old RadioShack piano keyboard! It was just what I needed and the price was just right. I also like how there is a led light on the adapter to indicated that is in use.
