The plug acts as the transformer in this set. We installed it in the garden and plugged it into the waterproof box to give a great uplifting effect in the garden. The lights are robust and stand up to a lot. Unfortunately 18 months after purchase the transformer failed, first causing the lights to flicker and then fail.

Bought a set of 6 and added a further 3 to the chain for a maximum allowed 9 lights from a single transformer. Used the 2nd transformer with the remaining 3 lights in another area of the garden.. So far had none fail but have tightened all connections as I found some where a little loose when installing so maybe not water tight. They give a nice warm bright light which looks great in the dark. Looking to buy more to complete the effect. These are quite expensive but you get what you pay for I guess and much better than any solar lights I have bought in the past.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received these garden lights as they appeared larger in the photo's on Amazon.I ordered six and then a further two after seeing the quality and the perfect size for my garden, placement in my rockery was a breeze, the other two extended lights fitted together easily.I would recommend these lights because the 8 warm white LED's are just perfect for what I wanted and far more economical than the two ancient 12v transformers that these replaced.Tucked away behind plants and rocks they are barely seen but once night time begins, they come into their own and produce that delightful ambiance and serenity.In all.. I'm very impressed with theses lights and with great customer service too.

Lights are good but the brackets that hold the lights are very flimsy and bend with the slightest touch, otherwise so far so good, stronger brackets and they would be spot on, just let’s them down a bit

These lights have made my ordinary garden look designer made. They are situated to light up various small trees and an urn on a plinth. Super light which is just right.

These light a are very easy to install and look fantastic. We have set them on a timer and really look forward to seeing them turn on in the evening, they have a lovely warm white glow and they make our garden and plants look beautiful when it’s dark. Very happy

When the lights arrived I was so pleased with them and they worked well. I switched them on a few days ago and all they do is flash on and off. I have checked all the cables and cannot see any damage or problems caused by rodents and want to return them for exchange but cannot find out who to send them to.
