I have come to love this pencil! For some context: I write A LOT as an engineering student. I've returned to hand-writing my notes and homework, but was tired of constantly replacing my papermate pencils for one reason or another. I tend to write quite small and typically apply moderate pressure. First impressions: the body of this pencil is a sleek gun metal color, seems very sturdy, and its weight feels nice in my hand. The first night I used it, I found the grip to be a bit abrasive and the moving tip to be weird. After a few hours of writing, my hand started cramping which lasted through the rest of the night. I've continued to use it everyday since then, and I have not had any more hand pain, nor have I found the grip to be too harsh. I guess it just took some getting used to. As far as writing goes, I love how this thing writes. The rotating mechanism has been a game changer, though you hardly notice it while you're writing. I also love the precise eraser, though I wish that it lasted longer and was more like the pencilmate eraser, where you rotate the end to show/hide it. One eraser on this pencil will go by relatively quick, which was a little disappointing. I keep my old pencilmate handy so I can use its eraser for bigger or less precise jobs. This is a small sacrifice in efficiency that I am willing to make. I was a little annoyed to have to throw away over half of the eraser once it was too short, so instead of throwing it away, I put one of those tiny/clear-ish earring backs inside the holder and put the eraser on top (image) to get a little more life out of it. Worked like a charm! When I ordered this pencil, I also ordered two other relatively nicer pencils (Mitsubishi and Tombow) that each have a different unique/novel feature, and this pencil is my favorite of those. It seems like it is made of more durable materials, feels nice in my hands, is the most intuitive and precise, and will last quite a while. I highly recommend!

Really impressed with the quality of this pencil. The silver body looks nice and it has a grip, it's built super well, and feels very durable. It's also really lightweight and portable, The lead quality is amazing, it doesn't break easily and writes cleanly m probably because its diamond lead. It's really cool to look through the tiny window and watch the core rotate as you use it. You can actually see this mechanism in action if you stick a paper on the tip and you can literally see it spinning.

This is a very high-quality mechanical pencil for sure. It writes very nicely and the rotating mechanism inside the pencil is definitely extra, but is a very nice touch. The eraser also works pretty nicely. It is almost perfect, however there a few things that I didn't particularly like about it. First of all, I don't know if it's my grip or if it's intentional, but I feel like I'm not holding the specified gripping part and rather right towards the tip. It's not uncomfortable per se, but I don't ever remember quite doing that with other mechanical pencils before. Another thing is that while the eraser works pretty decently, it is incredibly tiny and you can go through it very quickly, so if you get this pencil, I hope you don't make many mistakes. Other than that, it's weighted nicely, it looks and feels premium, and if you're serious about having a reliable mechanical pencil, then I would say that it's worth the cost, but if you're just looking for a pencil that'll get you through taking notes or you aren't focused on small details when writing, then this might not be the pencil for you.

By far the best and easiest mechanical pencil ever, it’s a solid metal pen that feels amazing to write with and makes for great gifts for practicality and style! It comes in multiple colors too! I personally like the silver one but the black one is beautiful too, not a scratch on either of them after a solid year of use as well! Perfect for the pencil chewers like myself as it’s sturdy and won’t break, your teeth however…

I love this Kuru Elite 0.5mm HB No.2 mechanical pencil. I've only had it a few days but have been using it a lot while studying bookkeeping. It stays sharp, allowing me to write small enough to fit all the numbers where they belong. A lot of numbers. It feels sturdy with a little weight to it that I like. Best mechanical pencil I've ever used. I highly recommend it especially for people who write small.

Oh boy. Been using cheapo Papermates that last a couple of months and then just stop working. This Kuru Toga though? Oh man, I don't know where to begin. Form factor is great! Incredibly comfortable and wothba nice heft. Material quality is top notch as well. It just "feels good" in the hand. Writes like a dream! I use the .5 leads and with THIS thing they just Do. Not. Break. Feeds perfectly on each click as well. Just a wonderfully made product that'll likely last forever and it's ridiculously UNDER priced for how good a product it is. Get it.

رغم سعر القلم المنخفض ، الا ان جودته عاليه و التفاصيل متعوب عليها ، الجزء البلاستيكي اللي فيه ما تشعر انه بلاستيكي من جودته ، الميزه اللي فيه تجعل الوضعية اللي تكتب بها شبه ثابته ، اقصد هنا ووضعية الرصاص ، اذا تآكل جزء من الرصاص يُصبح شكله أشبه بالإزميل صحيح ؟ هنا يصبح القلم مناسب للتضليل و الخط العربي ، الميزه بهذا القلم ان فيه محرك يجعل القلم يلتف كل مره يلامس الورق هذا يجعل الوضعيه اللي انت ترغب بها لقلم الرصاص ثابته لاطول مده ممكنه … طبعا فيه سلبيات بسيطه ولكن الحقيقه انه ابتكار رائع و تطبيقه مُتقن بنسبة ٧٥٪؜

The design and build quality is looks quite good. I like that the grip is metallic; it makes the pencil feel more solid when gripping it.
