Fit like a glove!
I've always been a swimmer but for various reasons I haven't had the opportunity to get into the water recently for anything other than messing around with the family. With a change in circumstances I have been able to get back to using swimming as a fitness tool. I started off using my usual baggy swimming shorts and found these to be very uncomfortable. They would bunch up at the top of my leg and act like a sea anchor when ever I pushed off from the side. I therefore looked at an alternative and after careful consideration I chose these shorts. I didn’t pick these to increase my speed but to improve my swimming comfort and they do just that. They are tight at the bottom of each leg, not too tight but enough so that they don’t ride/bunch up and therefore allow my to slide smoothly through the water. I have a 35/36” waist and often go up a size as my thighs can be a little chunky. I went for the large size and these fit great. For those that are concerned that these may be too tight around the front and therefore revealing, don’t worry. There is extra material at the front to ensure that everything is kept to the imagination. Overall I have been really pleased with these shorts. They are very comfortable in the water and have really helped with my swimming. Although I haven’t tested them to see if they have helped me increase my speed, I’m sure they have just with the lack of drag they provide compared to my baggy old pair, although we are probably talking only a small increase. I would recommend these to anyone that wants to swim laps for fitness.

Awesome for price!
Very nice pair of trunks! The material is nice and comfortable, and they fit my size perfectly. I've been swimming in them twice now, and I feel a lot more 'streamlined' that when I was swimming with my last trunks, which have now been thrown away. This product also dries quickly, and is very chlorine resistant! NOTE: Do not cross over thee strings when tightening the trunks. If you're wondering what I mean by this, it's like when you tie your shoe laces. Normally you make an X, or cross over the laces, then make the circles and the knot. These trunks only tighten when you pull the strings, crossing them over doesn't make them tighter, and if you do cross them you will get a small nasty knot! Instead Pull the strings and tighten the trunks, then make the circles and make a knot that way. Skip crossing the strings. This will tie up the trunks, and let you untie the trunks easily after your swim.

Modest and streamlined
Having recently learned to swim and still frustratingly stuck in the "improver" category, I decided it was probably time to ditch the faithful bermuda shorts and go for something more sport specific. I'm glad I did. Time per length improved immediately by nearly 15% for the same effort. Putting vanity to one side, I had measured waist size (around the belt-line) and ordered on that basis. The fit is snug and comfortable. The waist cord will tighten a little, useful for security in the open water. There's an integral 'ball bag' to stop one's tackle drifting too far from its moorings and upsetting stroke rhythm. One snag though is when you revert from freestyle to breast stroke. The extra length in the leg leads to a tightening in the gusset which tends to release with an alarming >snap<. The first time this happened, I thought I'd bust a seam, but it seems that the stitching is strong enough to withstand such abuse. Since then, I've taken to wearing the leg tops pulled in to the groin area to keep flexibility in the gusset, practical and remarkably flattering too. In all, highly recommended.

Doing well so far.
I bought these 3 months ago and so far they have been great. I bought other cheaper jammers before these and they are all loose at the hem which isn't a major problem but these jammers aren't. If you swim regularly and haven't worn jammers before I suggest you try a pair as they have the advantage of making swimming easier, when you jump into the water they don't fill up with air, they don't turn you into a soprano either if the water's a bit on the cold side and they also don't feel cold when you get out of the water as normal swim shorts do. I have never tried the more expensive jammers out there and don't think I will ever buy a £180 pair so I can't comment on how they compare to them but, in my opinion, these Speedo Endurance jammers are good enough. Also, when I got them they were a bit tight at the base but after a few swims they weren't tight but still snug. They feel almost tailor made. Recommend highly.

Excellent value for money.
Purchased these as I have upped my swimming to 3 - 4 times a week, an hour a session and I used to wear loose fitting shorts. The difference is instantly noticeable in the water, reduced drag which I had never noticed, now my swim is more smooth and I'm quicker with it. At first I was unsure of which size to order as I'm a 32 inch in jeans but as other reviewers have said, I measured my waist and opted for 34 inch waist. I'm glad I did as they are a good fit, nice and snug and not too tight which I think the 32 inch would have been; you've got to be honest here guys! All in all, I'm so pleased with these that I ordered a second pair as my spare pair and like the first, they were delivered in two days. You can't say fairer than that.

I swim a great deal. Mostly in a wet suit, which ruins the swimming trunks you wear underneath. Return to the pool in a pair of worn/old trunks, and you stand a good chance of having your cock hanging down the leg. Another alternative is a pair of 'speedo' type briefs, but as one reviewer put it, they are vaguely obscene. So the longer legged trunks like these are the perfect answer. I was worried about the quality before I bought them, because they are only around the same price as other pairs, which have far less material. In fact, though I found them to be very good. Quick to dry, good quality and comfortable. One warning : I have very skinny legs, and these were tight around my thighs. If you are a cyclist or a runner, you might find them restrictive.

Great - miles better than baggy shorts
These are great. Buy them if you are any sort of reasonable swimmer at all. I had been swimming in a pair of baggy swimming shorts from which all the elasticity had departed, but I didn't expect the difference between them and these sleek figure hugging shorts to be so dramatic. Without exerting myself any more than usual I was clocking in 45 seconds quicker for 10 length sets than I had been (round about 15%). I had been rather discouraged at how slow my swimming had become, but now I remember that I used to wear those skimpy speedo trunks. These are somewhat more decent, and it is good to be back in the land of the aero/aqua-dynamic. As some of the other reviews say - measure your waist and buy according to that size. Don't buy according to your trouser size as that can vary considerably. Swallow your pride and get out the tape measure. The tape measure said 35.5 so I bought 36inch and they fit nicely. For those who want to swim faster or further or both, these are the boys. PS - For those who admit they need a bigger size, somehow Amazon charge less than the slimmer models!!

Very good and very reasonably priced, buy it!
I have owned the Speedo Endurance+ striped jammer. Paid considerably more because of the more stylish looks but for some reason this piece is a a better fit and seemingly of much better quality. A+
