I don't think these chocolates live up to the hype and are too expensive for the quality and amount. That said, they are tasty and their flavors blend well into the chocolate much better than typical store-bought brands. The hand painted aspect just isn't a selling point to me and if it were, I'd rather have an actual hand painted image rather than what appears to be a drizzle of color. Finally, and really this is just soapboxing now, the marketing copy on the packaging does not disappoint in its faithfulness to the industry's requisite sometimes-turgid and unrealistic imagery.In sum, this product is tasty and appears as advertised. Makes a suitable gift for a artsy or quasi-artsy chocolate and your-flavor(s)-here lover.
