Watts AT34 ANKA Series High Pressure Poly-Pipe Tee, 3/4" X 3/4" X 3/4" Black Fitting w/ Blue Tapered Nut Seals, High Grade Glass Fiber Reinforced Nylon, Agriculture & Irrigation

I'm using with Cresline Poly Pipe 1" 80 Psi. The walls of the poly pipe are too thin for the nut to grab so I wrapped a 1 inch strip of duct tape around the end of the pipe three times and the nut grabs tightly and is holding drip free after a week at 40 psi.

One shot fixed so easy. I tried two other types of coupling and they fail instantly. This one cost me more but also cost a lot less of my labor.

ok so anyone looking at this most likely knows the pain getting fittings into poly pipe, I sure do and with bad hands this thing is FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!!! Its very well made and seems like it will be able to take a beating for a long time (time will tell of course). I found this after reading on shark bites OWN WEBSITE stating their fittings work on poly pipe and learned how much of a lie that was fast thought I pretty much knew it was not correct but I still wasted the money and tired to no luck of course lol. So I put this fitting on and I know I had the most stupid happy smile on my face at how amazingly easy it was to put on. The nut is very comfortable to turn even for my sore paws!!! The threads on the other end are very well cut and no burrs or defects I could find and or feel, I used a a check valve right off the fitting then a sharkbite 1inch MNPT x 3/4'' PTC and then from there into our spindown filter and it holds and seals perfect. When holding the fitting in my hand with our well pump running it feels great smooth water flow with no turbulence that I can feel or hear. SO JUST BUY IT!!!!!! If you have poly pipe and need a fitting don't look around anymore watts WON ME BIG TIME!!!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECCOMMEND THIS LINE OF FITTINGS!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH WATTS!!!!!!

I have bought for of these. One worked just fine. You can't tighten the 1/2" side caps to keep the poly tube in place more securely. If that does not work, then what is the point of those caps. Oh the price is outrageous as well. You can get similar items for less than 5 bucks in your local sprinkler store.

These are a lot easier to install than regular barb fittings. After pouring some hot water on the pipe they slip right on. Without hot water they can be installed with moderate difficulty. I'm using 160PSI SIDR11.5 poly pipe. I made a mark on the black plastic before installation to be sure I was tightening the blue nut enough. It's hard to tell how much to tighten it. I tried just doing hand tight, but that only cut about 1.5 threads into the pipe which doesn't seem like enough to hold it permanently. I ended up tightening with channel locks until the blue nut was almost all the way to the mark I made. I hope they will be reliable. The plastic feels thick and high quality. One issue, the IPS threads on this fitting seem too loose or not tapered enough. The fitting I screwed in easily bottomed out, and it took an excessive amount of Teflon tape, 10+ wraps of heavy duty Teflon (not the thin white kind), to get it to stop leaking. Maybe I should have used pipe sealant too, but I'd be worried about that damaging the plastic over time.

Theses fittings make life so much easier. I ran a water line to three water spigots in my yard. The regular t-fittings leaked probably because I have 65 psi static water pressure. I replaced them with these and absolutely no leaks. Great product!
