MUELLER Pre Tape Spray - 10 oz (EA)

Works really well. I use KT tape on my knees when I work out. Even when I sweat buckets, the tape stays put. Without, the tape falls off almost immediately. Tip: I wipe my knees down with rubbing alcohol before I apply. That also helps.

I was having difficultly making anything other than Rocktape stick for more than a day or two. Once you curl an edge, it's all she wrote and the tape is coming off or just gets uncomfortable. There are some fine but less expensive tapes available, but they have the same edge problem. This spray does a great job of grabbing the edge adhesive and keeping it down. Just be aware that the dried spray is sticky and only put it where you need it. One final note... THIS STUFF IS VERY FLAMMABLE, no smoking, open flames or sparks nearby

Works was advertised, seems a little expensive but you can get a lot of use out of it and if you routinely wear kinesiology tape, it can be a lifesaver because some brands of tape just won't stick right even when applied correctly. Outside factors too such as sweat can reduce the stickiness quickly. The last time I used pre-tape, I believe I used the recommended amount for two separate 12 inch pieces of tape, one on the back of each calf. When I went to remove the tape a couple days later, it was like I had super glue along the back of my legs. Unfortunately, I lost a bunch of leg hair removing the tape. I'd compare it to removing a band aid, except about 50 times worse. I'm not entirely sure if the problem was due to user error or a chemical reaction, possibly using more than recommended amount without knowing. I will say this was an isolated incident and there are products that counter the sticky "glue like" effects that might've prohibited this from happening. Isopropyl alcohol is cheap and works like a charm. I give it 4 stars and would recommend it to most but please note there is a small percentage of people that react poorly to its use.

I use kinesio tape for a injury to the arch of my foot, and was fine all winter without pre-tape spray. But once the temperature started to rise and I began to sweat, the tape peeled off my foot and ankle mid-run every single time. My physical therapist recommended a more expensive brand but I opted for the Mueller instead and it has never failed me. Beware that EVERYTHING will stick to your skin once you've sprayed this (until and even after it dries), which is the point, but if you're using it on feet and ankles like me, don't walk around barefoot. I put on my tape and sock right away, and sometimes dirt and lint will still find their way to my sticky skin, but it comes off with baby oil or just soap & water with a washcloth or sponge.

I have an ostomy and use this to help the barrier stick on as I have a disorder that’s causes mucus to come out of sides of stoma and keep the barrier from sticking. This really helps me to get two to three days out of barrier, which is what I have to get out of it due to insurance. It does burn if you spray damaged skin, just a warning don’t use on dry or red, damaged skin because it burns like hell. Otherwise it works great but make sure you plan to leave whatever you put on, on through a few washes or sweats as it will hurt really bad if you try to take it off immediately without adhesive remover.

This product is awesome. Started using it at the direction of my physical therapist. This product helps my tape stay on during long runs. I’m a very inefficient sweater and so I perspire intensely. Using this has insured that the tape stays in place. The one caution is after spraying on and applying the tape I either wait a few minutes for the adhesive to completely dry or or pat it down with a cloth. Otherwise my athletic shirt will adhere to the spray area.

I like that it holds the tape in place for a very long time

Definitely helps keep KT tape attached despite sweat, hairy legs, etc for the entire game. Glad we found it here since we can't seem to find it in local stores.
