This does well in filtering the water. I would give it 5 stars, but it only filters a fraction of the capacity it states. The package insert says it filters up to 11,000 gallons and should last for at last a year. However, I use it for about a gallon of drinking water per day; and after 2 months, I always have to replace it because the water starts tasting bad again. So, in addition to the hassle of having to do all that's involved in replacing it, it's much more expensive than I thought it would be when I decided to go with purchasing and installing the Waterdrop system.

easy to install, works well, worth the money

Excelent replacement filter. No problems with water pressure or quality. Far more cost effective than most other filter systems. Waterdrop recomends replacing this filter every year regardless of usage. There is some confusion about whether the water valve needs to be turned off when replacing the filter. I did with mine, but I'm not sure it's necessary.

I’ve been using this system over 3 years now. The replacements are perfect for my filter! I like the stickers to help track the date of installation. It’s easy to put in and take out. Water pressure is still great. Also, I received a filter that didn’t last the full year as recommended, and the customer service rep, Becky was fantastic in understanding my concerns and making it right for both of us! I buy these systems for gifts because they are reliable and get the job done well.

Water tastes great after installing

Deux ans que j'ai adopté ce système de filtration. J'en suis pleinement satisfait : l'eau semble avoir meilleur goût. Utile également pour le remplissage des cafetières ou pour l'eau du thé et infusions. Bien qu'il soit précisé que ce ne soit pas nécessaire, je ferme quand même l'arrivée générale d'eau avant le remplacement de la cartouche. C'est assez simple à faire. La question qui se pose, c'est la disponibilité des cartouches pour les années à venir.
