Works better than ones with narrow straps
I tried another brand, that had narrow straps. It stretched out within 6 days and I threw it out. This brand (Vosaro) has wider straps, that don't stretch out. The Velcro hook and loop areas are larger and set back about 1/4" from the edge of the fabric. The chin strap is wide. It is easy to put on. It holds it shape, and is relatively comfortable. What sets this apart from other brands in the width of the straps and larger Velco surface area. I had originally by-passed this brand because I preferred black, but with the lighter color I can see when it needs to be washed.

dont wash it
I washed mine with the bed sheets in a washing maching, and then let it air dry. But, after doing so, only the piece of cloth that touches your chin stinks really badly. It's difficult to desribe the smell, the first thing that came to mind was mulch, like what you use for a garden bed - its a very stiff smell, makes you say 'oof, not good'. And so unfortunately its so bad it has made the chin strap totally useless for me. If you're the seller and willing to exchange please let me know. It was otherwise a good product, not fun to wear but definitely kept my mouth closed, which kept my mouth and throat moist during sleep. And it fit well.

Snug fit easy to clean excellent price
The Velcro is very strong. The fit is a bit snug at first, but it will expand in time. The build Quality is exceptional. There is no loose threads or anything. This is very easy to clean. All you have to do is pretty much just put it in water in the sink and wash it out by hand which ensures that it last longer and the Velcro doesn’t stick all over the place. For the quality and the durability, the cost is excellent. One of the thing I like best about it is that the chin has a cushion.

Worked for first 3 days-too large for me.
It was nice and comfortable and had no smell to use at first but then it stretched out for me and no longer was useful,as it became too large and flimsy and some strings started to unravel . I will try washing it and see if that can be of help.

I don’t know
Ok let’s do Pros and Cons:Pros: it does hold good, no opening the mouth. Material is thin and stretchy.Cons: it is very uncomfortable, it’s too tight, so I loosen it up and it doesn’t do the job.I do however use it around the house to keep the chin muscles nice and tight, hahahahaha.

Really? They want me to review a chinstrap?
I was surprised to get a request from Amazon for a review of a chinstrap that cost around ten bucks. What am I supposed to say? I have been on a CPAP for years, and for a lot of those years I've needed something to keep my mouth from coming open while I sleep and making the CPAP less effective. The medical supply company provided a far inferior chinstrap . They listed the price as a whole lot more than ten bucks, but with medical pricing I have no idea what the real price was. This works better than the one supplied by the medical supply company. What else can I say? Since I only use it to sleep, I'm not terribly concerned with how fashionable it is or whether the color goes well with my eyes. My main concern is that it does what it's supposed to do, and it does. The suggested "Ideas" for this review included "smell." It has no noticeable smell. If it did, I'd be worried.

Give it a try!
(Written by husband) I’ve used a cpap for a long time for mild sleep apnea. I hate it. My sleep apnea isn’t sever enough to justify the machine. I use a nasal dilator and it helps, but I still snore when I’m on my back. I don’t know why I hadn’t tried a chin strap yet, but it has eliminated the snoring. This particular chin strap is light, breathable and fits well. It’s the only one I’ve tried, but some other models seem to be made of thicker looking neoprene and only go around the top of the head and not around the neck also. I believe this model allows for more adjustment to the fit. The first couple nights I felt some pressure on my jaw, but it’s been fine since. I’m able to slip it over my head without removing the Velcro, which is nice. The only negative I can say it that it covers my beard and makes me look like I have only a mustache, which is a bad look on me.

Easy to fit, the only one so far to not have a horrible chemical smell.
I've tried 2 or 3 other similar products before this one. It was just a waste of money! A neoprene one had a horrible chemical smell, a one-size-fits-all one did NOT fit my head. I had to pull it so tight that it just wasn't possible to comfortably wear it for a few minutes, let alone all night. This is the only one that I was able to fit comfortably. It has no smell at all. I can actually use it for my CPAP therapy. My mask just fits straight over the top of it.I was worried that the straps at the back my not feel great being a back sleeper, but they're so comfortable that I forget that they're there at all. And it's always still in place the next morning!I have a full (long) beard, and this fitted over it just fine, and doesn't slip during the night. The beard hair does get a bit of a crimp in it when I first wake up, but with a bit of fluffing and/or combing it goes back to normal. It's super thin and very comfortable. I don't know how long it'll last, but I'd buy a replacement one without hesitation!Either my ears are in a weird place, or the ear holes seemed to be placed in a bit of a weird place. The space is huge though, and I managed to get my ears comfortably in it, so I'd definitely recommend it to others. I think you'd love it, just like I do.
