I haven't used this new purchase, but have used this same product for a few years. I bought this to replace my old one, which has been used daily and washed weekly. It still has some life left in it, so I expect that the new one will be of the same quality. Very comfortable and has improved my sleep quality greatly.

I washed mine with the bed sheets in a washing maching, and then let it air dry. But, after doing so, only the piece of cloth that touches your chin stinks really badly. It's difficult to desribe the smell, the first thing that came to mind was mulch, like what you use for a garden bed - its a very stiff smell, makes you say 'oof, not good'. And so unfortunately its so bad it has made the chin strap totally useless for me. If you're the seller and willing to exchange please let me know. It was otherwise a good product, not fun to wear but definitely kept my mouth closed, which kept my mouth and throat moist during sleep. And it fit well.

I have bought 4 of these, they work great for my C-Pap to help keep my mouth closed. I always hand wash them with my C-Pap supplies and hang dry to help them last longer. I bought multiples so I can keep one in my travel bag and have a dry one when the others are being cleaned.

I bought this chinstrap at the recommendation of my sleep doctor as a replacement for the worn one I was using. It was recommended to keep my mouth closed while using CPAP tratment for sleep apnea. It does this when adjusted properly. The material is breathable and odor free, which was a problem with another strap I bought on Amazon previously. The velcro straps are easily adjustable at the top and back of the head, so it should be able to fit anyone. The only drawback for me is the amount of coverage of my face and head- I would prefer something smaller and less noticable- but that is probably needed for it to be sturdy enough to function properly. I haven’t been through hot weather with it yet, but the knockoff version I tried previously made me sweat even in cool weather. This one is much better by far. As the doctor suggested, I bought two, one to wear and another to be in the wash. It is inexpensive enough for that to be very reasonable to do.

Buyer Beware — this product does what it intends (alleviate dry mouth etc.?caused by use of CPAP) but, if you tighten it too much to make it more effective, it can cause VERY painful TMJ problems that I struggled with for months.

Excellent quality durable and comfortable to wear. I have tried other models but this one has been the easiest and comfortable to use.

Not working ...I snore more loudly after wearing this.

After the first night, my partner said I snored worse than ever, don't wear it. I actually could feel I was grinding my teeth. Maybe I wore this too tight, placed the extension on, and slept with it on day two. This morning again my partner said it makes your snoring a lot worse, I'm surprised the neighbours didn't phone noise control. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. Maybe this will work for you.

monitored with sleep analyser over a week. does not work and actually snores more. this only works to prevent drooling, but not comfortable
