stays on all day, i put this over my sunscreen. i like it.

I’m not a huge fan of matte finish foundation, and don’t really use a setting powder on my entire face. But I love cream blush and eyeshadow, and usually like to have a jar of loose powder on hand to lightly dust over these areas and prevent the creams from creasing. My previous go to is Makeup Forever Ultra HD, which I am always open for cheaper alternatives to.This powder comes in a relatively small jar, which is more than enough for what I use it for, but might not last long for people who want to use it all over their face on a daily basis. It comes with a small powder puff inside, although I applied it with a fluffy brush. It worked really well for setting cream eyeshadows. I tested it on the greasiest and most crease-prone face paint pigments I have and it noticably improved their performance without making my eyelid area too dry. I did test it once on my entire face and found that it was truly translucent but on the dry side, and did make some flaky areas on my nose and temples stand out more. This isn’t a big deal for me since I’m only planning to use it in other areas to set cream products, but might be something to consider if you want an all over face powder but have dry skin.

This setting powder is okay. It definitely helps set cream blush and eye shadow. I feel it sucks too much moisture out of my skin as I have naturally dry skin to begin with. It's a very small container, it would be handy for traveling or to touch up out on the town. Wouldn't last long at your vanity

I have super dry skin and have to be careful about using power on my face. I only use it on my t-zone and chin area where I tend to get oily when. wearing makeup. This powder did a great job at minimizing the appearance of my pores and also keeping my foundation in place. It didn't look cakey or separate over time. It does wipe off easily if you happen to rub your face accidentally but I'm actually happy with how my skin looks after application. The fine powder settled beautifully without enhancing lines. I highly recommend.
