I bought this for Android Auto use for myself but I also wanted my girlfriend to connect her iPhone wirelessly when we're in the car together...dual function. I followed the setup and it works great! I have an inexpensive EinCar head unit I bought on Amazon and had no issue installing the software and getting it running. It launches Android Auto when I plug my phone in, and goes right back to my WebCarGuru home screen when I disconnect. If you're looking for a quick and easy way to add Android Auto's latest version to a cheap head unit, look no further.**We have not tried the wireless car play yet, but it worked fine with it wired.

This thing is trash. In 2020, nothing should be this difficult to connect and get running. First, if I have to download an app, it should be in the Google play store, which ATOTO units have access to when there is internet connection. Having to type in a link to another site is so 2007. Anyway, I connect to the internet, type in the link as instructed, checking it several times. Each attempt, I end up at a site to get Dropbox. Dropbox?? After 20 minutes messing with this thing, I opted to just return it. For $80, this thing should really be plug and play.

Ok, PAY ATTENTION!- if you cannot hear calls or other audio from CarPlay... disconnect and unpair the Atoto unit from your iPhone Bluetooth. Any other connection to the Atoto unit will interfere with the CarPlay.That being said, this is an awesome unit, far far better than the wired CP unit. The software was a little difficult to download from their Dropbox site, but after installing it, this works like a dream. I can shift between CarPlay and the Atoto android system effortlessly, and the sound of CarPlay items are clear and fast responding.If they had better documentation and better setup instructions, this would get a fifth star.

I updated my A6 Pro to 9.7 and installed the CarPlay ZBOX2 App and as soon as I plugged it my phone connected wirelessly and maps work perfectly. I previously had a CarPlay from a different company and it worked but not near as well. I ahve this installed in a motor home and am looking forward to several long trips using the map feature

This review is for a ATOTO A6 Pro. Took me 5 minutes to update the Zbox2 app and then plug everything in and accept the Android Auto terms on my phone. Highly Recommend with new Android Auto app. Looks a lot like what Carplay is. Still is not wireless to my knowledge FYI. Do not hesitate to purchase.

I can't get this to link with cell app or stereo. As a matter of fact I can't get a lot of features of this stereo to work so far very disappointing.

It often takes a bit to connect and when it does with the music there is a somewhat frequent quick skip in the sound

Would not stay connected and had to return item. Could have just gotten a defective unit. Return was simple with no issues.
