The holder arrived well packed and in good condition. It seems very sturdy and durable. It is very nice looking in person and is a nice addition to a coffee table or end table. As others have said, the tissue box may not fit inside, but I did not find that to be a big deal. It looks much nicer than having a box of tissues sitting out. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

Must get small boxes of tissues, will not accommodate the bigger boxes we usually get. But happy with the product regardless!

This is cute, and appears sturdy. However, there is no apparent way to open this to insert a box of Kleenex, even though the box has a catch and hinges. I don't understand why a Kleenex box cover would be made in a way that it couldn't be opened. I'm returning it.Update: my husband managed to pop the lid open on this. Apparently it was just stuck, and required a bit of force to open the first time. After that, it was no longer difficult to open. However, when I tried to put a rectangular Kleenex box in it, the cover turned out to be a bit too narrow for a standard rectangular Kleenex with Lotion box, so I'm still going to have to return it. Too bad, because it went with the nautical decor in our bedroom, and looked good on my nightstand. Maybe it was designed for off-brand tissues? I don't know, but if you're using Kleenex brand tissues, and like to use the larger, rectangular boxes, this will not work for you, unless this particular item was just out of spec. A shame, really, because it otherwise appeared to be attractive and well-made.

Good weight and quality, Keeps the box in place well while one hand pulling a tissue which is why I wanted it in the first place, because it sucks to knock off the box off the table mid sneeze pulling a tissue. The stuggle is real people, this sure fixes the frustration.

This is an attractive tissue holder, and it does have a nice antique quality. I think it's made from paper glued to wood.
