N&Y HOME Magnetic Shower Curtain Weights 6 Sets (Pack of 12)

I have a low-threshold walk-in shower and wanted to make sure the shower curtain stayed inside the threshold. These have been doing an excellent job of that and they're not ugly to look at, either. I use a two-piece cloth shower curtain with detachable liner... the curtain stays out and these magnets keep the liner in. They've been on my shower curtain liner for over six months now and there are no stains from them (I was a little worried there might be rust stains from them, but no). Good, functional product.

Everyone NEEDS a WEIGHTED curtain but .... the weights fall apart, too expensive then curtain arrives after weeks waiting NOT weighted UGH I tried the special, rare, exotic metal mags only to find them falling off, falling apart and nothing else preventing them from failure, not to mention not HEAVY enough. These seem to work, although I would give all 5 stars if FOUR pair enclosed, not just THREE In time, if all goes OK, I'll up the stars rating. I think they have solved most if not all of the exotic metal mags flaws in materials, design &certainly engineering + seems to care about sanctification after taking someone's money.

These are excellent. The only problem which I have with them is that they only last one year. I bought mine on June 15th of 2020, and it's now June 2nd of 2021 and only 2 are left which still work. Over time the water gets into the glue that holds the magnet onto the porcelain, and they seem to only last a year. If the magnet wouldn't fall out after a year, they'd be a 5/5 rating.

This is a much nicer product than you might think looking at the webpage. Immediately on opening it, it had nice size and weight feel to it. And the stone (or whatever it is) has a nice polished look to it. It was a little smaller than I thought from the webpage, which was good. The webpage made me think it was a big ol' round thing, when it's a more subtle size, to me at least. The weight seems fine for a shower curtain. I have a very narrow curtain though in a small walk-in shower, just 34 inch wide curtain (I had to cut for it!). And that was just about right for the 3 pairs that come in the pack. For a standard much wider curtain, I think 4 or 5 pairs would be better (2 packs). **** There's a key picture correction on the diameter of the magnet. The back view picture shows the magnet of a diameter just a little smaller than the stone (good). But the side pictures show a much smaller diameter for the magnet. That almost stopped me from buying it (because that would not have been stable). But turns out the diameter is just a little smaller than the stone. I just put them on, so I can't comment on durability. Because it is a weighty stone, it will clank just lightly against the tile sometimes when you pull the curtain back or forth to open/close (if that's your setup). No big deal on that though. Just don't yank the curtain around!

many of the magnets have completely disintegrated and no longer work…believe it or not the ones shown are the good ones that still work. I might order more and see if I can’t put some sort of coating over the neodymium…btw, you will know when the rust gets bad because you will see stains in the floor of your shower. I am still an advocate of the weights, but does everything have to wear out and be disposable? imagine if the shower curtain rings rusted or weakened - the point is, they don’t, and really these shouldn’t either. I cannot remember how I found about about using weights at the bottom of a shower curtain, but I am willing to admit I was skeptical about many of the claims. After 18 months I can safely say that these will make your shower curtains last longer and look better. I put four on each shower curtain. That is the minimum and works. If I had younger kids m, it would not be hard to convince me to put 6 or even 8 on to their curtain liner. I pretty much consider shower curtain liners disposable- 6 months and put up a new one. I bought these in January 2021, and never wrote a review because I truly didn’t know whether these would do anything. Today I am changing out my shower curtain liner for the first time - easily doubling and almost tripling my expectations. The weights do allow the liner to breath so it doesn’t get stuck to the side and create a mold and mildew farm. Maybe more impressive than the longevity of the shower curtain is the impact they have had in my sons’ bathroom. Here the weights served a dual roll - aside from the anti mold and mildew - the weight kept the liner in the tub. Gone are the days of me finding a trail of water trickling into the hall from where the liner had gotten out of the tub confines. This product is a clear win-win not only will it pay for itself by making liners last longer, but they also cause the liner to function better. Some of the plating did come off one of my magnets and so I may have to replace it, but first I am going to try some rust inhibitive paint. I don’t think rust will hurt functioning l, but I don’t want rust stains in the tub. Overall this mY be a 4 1/2 star product, but what I do know is it definitely isn’t a four star product. If you have adolescent males, waste no time ordering these - you will not regret it.

Holds shower curtain in place, but needs cleaned every so often.

I've had these for two years and had a couple of problems over time. The most important one happened this morning. The edges of the ceramic or glass-like domes had shattered and chipped off over time. While I had seen evidence of this, I didn't really think about the problems since this is a glass-like material. When I swept my foot across the shower stall floor this morning, a shard of this glass material (see photo) stuck 1/4" into my toe. Only one out of six of these weights remained totally intact. The dome from one had come off long ago and I had thrown it away. While I had noticed that the domes were chipping over time, I had never realized how dangerous the shards would be if one were to get stuck in my toe. The magnet that was left from the dome that had come off has rusted and a couple more of the magnets are beginning to rust. These were great as far as weighting down the shower curtain. But clearly a danger as they chip and break over time coming in contact with the tile of our shower stall.

Love these !! Works perfectly for our needs ! Ended putting 5 on the cloth liner & shower curtain of our beautiful new hand tiled walk-in shower. These are extra long curtains, as the rod is very high since the enclosure is completely tiled including ceiling. With the weights keeping the curtains in place not only does it look better but the curtains don't cling to the user's skin while showering. My husband is very pleased as this was really bugging him. They're also very classy looking. I've got white magnets on white curtains. Looks great & Solved my problem ! 😊 🚿

Purchased these to clip onto my wet shirts as they hang dry thus eliminating the need to iron, as much. Nice quality material. The smooth plastic back is stuck firmly to the magnet. To separate the magnet pairs always slide them apart. The strong magnets are fun to play around with but will pinch fingers!

Die Beschwerer funktionieren super. Der Duschvorhang bleibt da wo er ist. Ich habe allerdings 6 Stück verwendet. 3 waren noch zu wenig. So macht das Duschen wieder Spaß.

Le rideau de douche tiens mieux en place. Les aimants reste également en place et je crois qu’ils n3 rouilleront pas

The magnetic shower curtain weights are fantastic but as we have 2 curtains around our shower we required 12 magnets. We are very happy with the result. They are of excellent quality & looked great!

These are absolutely brilliant. I've just moved into my first home and realised there must be a solution to the shower curtain floating on in and wrapping itself around you and generally being a pain. These are very pretty, they look just like they are pictured. You just put one half either side of fabric, evenly spaced and it keeps your shower curtain in place! Haven't cleaned them yet as haven't had them long enough but they look and feel sturdy, just a normal bathroom cleaner and a gentle scrub will get them clean. I got the set of 3 but will be getting 3 more to really hold the shower curtain down as with only three it doesn't feel like there is enough weight as it still pulls slightly away from the tub. I'm sure this will be different for everyone depending on water pressure and heat etc. But overall cannot fault these. They do what they say on the tin and look nice while they do it.
