I made a custom Li-Ion battery pack to run two of these in parallel. These are the best mountain bike lights for a DIY engineering project. My friends are jealous of my light setup, especially because they paid hundreds more for something equivalent. I'm an elite night rider, and these fit the bill for my adventures. They last many hours on my rides. The red light comes on prematurely, indicating low voltage, but it's false. My packs still run for 3+ hours using two of these lights on maximum brightness. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Has worked great *by D***N on March 8, 2024* It's really one of the brightest portable lights I've owned, that wasn't a spotlight. And this thing could probably compete with some of them lol.I have had this for a while now on my bike, and only recently have I finally drained the battery while out riding. One drawback is the battery plugs into the light, and then the light's button stays lit so long as it is plugged in - putting a constant drain on the battery.I love that this came with a headlamp attachment as well. That's one positive about the rubber stretchy clamp/strap, is it makes the light more versatile. I wish I noticed the rubber mounting straps though, because I don't have much faith in them, but it hasn't failed me yet.
